It was a hot day in July when we visited the Coliseum with our three children ages 4, 8 and 10. Our guide (Maria) did what I thought was impossible and kept them interested and engaged. The contest between kids and parents was a great way to keep them thinking. Maria is incredibly knowledgeable—she knows everything.

The tour in and of itself was great. Amazing views, comprehensive and informative. Our tour guide Julia was phenomenal, everything one could ask for. She was kind, energetic and kept the kids (8 & 12) engaged the entire time. She answered all of our questions, took pictures of us, and even, pointed out restrooms so we could take a quick break. Also, I should mention she had a binder full of educational materials (full of pictures) that provided illustration.

Claudia our guide was lovely. She engaged the kids (even our 4 Yr old) and really explained everything in an interesting way for us all. The pick up at our accommodation was punctual and efficient. Recommendations for the best pizza places were a lovely touch.

Marco was amazing! He was the highlight of the tour for our family for sure. He made walking long distances and learning about Roman history SO much fun for the kids (ages 10, 7, 6). They laughed and played games and enjoyed the tour so much they didn’t want it to end.

Excellent tour. Our guide Simona gave a great scavenger hunt for our two teen boys, the skip the lines is HUGE with the summer crowds and heat.
We learned a ton and the colosseum and Forum grounds are simply breathtaking.
The whole family enjoyed this tour very much despite some seriously hot weather.

We were lucky enough to have Alex for two tours in two days – the Colosseum and the Vatican. Alex’s knowledge of Roman history and theology was exceptional and we all learned so much from her (even the adults who had been before). The kids (13, 10) had a great time learning and playing games and Alex held their attention despite the crowds (both) and terrible weather (Colosseum). If you are considering this tour, just do it! It is more than worth the money!

Our host Rosella was simply the perfect guide. She energetically engaged our two children (6 and 9) with books, props, stories and more that kept us all enthralled. Rosella has an amazing educational background, with knowledge across history, art, religion and science, so there wasn’t a single item we pointed at that she didn’t have a fascinating answer to. We had such a great time!

Buchung und Abwicklung hat prima geklappt. Sogar die kurzfristige Stornierung nur eines Teilnehmers gelang telefonisch problemlos.
Unser Fremdenführer Donato sprach sehr gut deutsch und gestaltete das Programm sehr anschaulich und interessant für die Kinder. Drei zwischendurch eingebaute Spiele rundeten das Programm sehr schön ab. Aber auch die Erwachsenen kamen auf ihre Kosten und konnten jede Menge Fragen stellen. Donato ging sehr gut auf unsere Wünsche und Bedürfnisse ein.
Leider sind anscheinend generell Führungen in deutscher Sprache in Rom teurer als englische. Der Grund dafür erschließt sich mir nicht! Und bei sechs Teilnehmern summieren sich die Kosten.
