Entrance to the Collosea itself was very impressive. Maybe your office could by marked with opening time – it was little bit confusing to be there earlier and find ut closed.

Accurate to the listing. Fast and easy. Ticket exchange office was easy to find.
Only reason I’m giving it 4 stars is because one out of three tickets was for a different time.

As advertised. You have to pick up your tickets 20-30 min before entrance time at a store near the colosseum. We got to skip all the lines which was amazing! If you are wanting self guided and easy entrance this is the option, otherwise for all the context and historical information you will definitely need an in person guide as there is minimal signage and it is very busy!!

First time Rome visitors so I could only judge my experience based on this tour. We happened to visit the Forum on the same day of Giro D’Italia so it was probably 2x as chaotic as normal. Once you get through the crowd, getting into the Coloseo was easy. In spite of the crowds, you can find plenty of places for peace and quiet and learning. Highly recommend downloading a free audio tour of the forum (we used Rick Steves). One thing that would have been helpful would be a little map from the tour office (easy to find) to the entrance (harder to find). Overall great value.
