Our guide was terrific – he really knew Roman history and was able to talk about life in Roman times and how the Colosseum was used. We were in a group of 28 so it was hard to stay together and see things as the guide was talking. Lots and lots of steps and uneven pathways – not many handrails.

I highly recommend the Colosseum and the Roman forum tour. It may feel overwhelming, but it’s completely worth the time. Archer guide was exceptionally knowledgeable and very friendly. My son and I enjoyed our time and I feel we learned so much. The weather was hot, but I would say do this to her, no matter how hot the summer gets.
