So disappointing that we visited the Forum first. I really wanted to explore the Forum, but didn’t have enough time on our tour. There were many sites that I wanted to see like the a temple of Venus, but our guide told me that since we left the Forum, I was not able to get back in. Poor planning.

Tatiana was amazing! She was so sweet and really made accommodations for a large family on our tour with a baby stroller (tough to do on this type of tour). She was very knowledgeable and gave great information. She did everything she could to make the group comfortable.

Tour was okay. Skip the line was a joke. Still need to wait 20 mins to get in Becos Everyone was “skipping the line” anyway.
I’ll suggest to put in the level of walking ability to the tour.
We have disabled, senior with cane and kid Will special needs. There is absolutely no way for them to keep up the pace.
And we did not even have break time even not the one lady asked for that 5 mins break.

The tour was really good. I didn’t get the name of the little lady (she wasn’t very tall) that gave us the tour but she was extremely knowledgeable and a true Roman through and through. The Roman forum portion was super cool, not to mention the coliseum! Definitely recommend it!

Guide was very knowledgeable. Good communicator and has a nice style. Would recommend this tour and you definitely need to skip the line as its a busy place!

This is supposed to be skip-the-line, but we went in the same line & waited 30 minutes in the rain… Not sure why I paid extra for the skip the line pass.
Not to mention – guide spoke very poor English. Most of the group took out their headphones halfway through, just to read all of the history on the signs throughout.

If you want to know the history of static, this tour is for you. The audio equipment didn’t work from the jump. Several attempts and new devices; no luck. A group of 24 without working equipment. Tickets alone were worth it and while the guide was ok; couldn’t hear her for 85% of the tour.

Tour is informative but spent too much time on Roman Forum/Palatine Hill (2hr) and not enough on Colosseum (1hr).
Roman Forum was first so we were all tired by the time we were at the Colosseum. It was hot with no food breaks so we were exhausted and didn’t get a full colosseum experience.

This was a great tour. Lots of info and time to see the sites and take photos. Our guide Fabio was knowledgeable, friendly and helpful.

We loved our tour of the Colosseum and the Palentine Hill.
Emanuella was a wonderful host and guide. She was funny, friendly, informative and helpful.

So, it’s not really a skip the line, it’s skip the normal queue and join the group queue. Whilst our tour was in English it was difficult in parts to understand due to the amount of background noise the microphone picked up and the strong Italian accent.
Also didn’t really enjoy this as much as we thought, it might be because of the weather or just how insanely busy it was.

Maria Louisa was excellent. Knowledgeable and kind. I suggest letting people know that you will be meeting people above the Metro station. Not on the ground floor!!

  13. Steve_E

Guide talked too fast and too much heavy accent
So very hard to understand.. tour was good but need to understand guide better

Unfortunately our guide cancelled our tour 15 mins before the scheduled start. We were then given the option to take a refund or receive tickets for entry only. Disappointing that we’re not able to adjust to non private tour or able to have other accommodations.

Our guide, Francesco, was fantastic! He was very clear with instructions on how to enter with our group, where we were headed at each step, and the information he provided was very interesting! He spoke English very well and was easy to understand. The provided audio/headphones made hearing him no problem. Highly recommend!

Despite the rain our tour guide, Nicolas, was extremely friendly and informative. He knew short cuts and ways to avoid some of the crowds of people. He kept it moving while at the same time paused when appropriate to answer questions or take breaks. He tried to keep us out of the rain when possible and made the best of the weather. Even though the tour was long, I’m really glad we did it; helped me to understand so much more about the City of Rome and all the history or what we were seeing. One other note, there were about 3 children between the ages of 5-9 in our group and the guide really did a fantastic job of keeping them engaged. They made it through the whole thing and did great! (They were not mine.)

The tour was worth it. The guide was very good and patient making sure everybody had time to appreciate and enjoy the experience.

Didn’t get to walk in the Forum. Didn’t get to walk in all areas around Colosseum. Very poor and not as advertised

Great first tour for us in Rome. We really liked Amil as a guide, she was interesting and informative. The Colosseum, Forum and Palatine Hill are all ‘must see’ places in Rome.

Go early and take photos of the plaques . Read them later so other people can take in the information.
