The tour was really good and Stefano, our guide, was personable and very knowledgeable. The headset radios were not great and the sound kept breaking up. It was also a shame there was no option for the earring impaired available. The tour ran smoothly except one incident at the entrance to the Colosseum where it appeared there was a discrepancy between number of adult and concession tickets that had been purchased. After about 15 mins this was sorted and unfortunately one person had to leave the tour so be sure to check you have correct details in the booking. One other niggle was that we had booked for a tour of 20 but in reality there were 30 on the tour. It was more expensive to book the smaller tour so I felt a little cheated when place in the larger tour group.

We signed up on the day of the tour and did not know what to expect. Marcius was amazing. He was better than the private professional guides we had earlier on our trip. He brought such an engaging energy that drew you in with his vivid descriptions of how life was 2000 years ago. We highly recommend the tour and Marcius. Grazie!

This was a good tour overall, we started off with roman forum and palatine Hill and got access to the arena and collosseum with skip the line entry.
Our guide was a lovely lady and explained everything well and went into details about some of the history.
The only hiccup was that we got lost in the crowd before entering the colloseum and while we had the radios active it was very difficult to find the group and guide given hundreds of people are pushing you and trying to enter.
We eventually found them but had a bit of panic as we were trying to call the tour agency but they were not picking up my calls at that time.
Eventually our guide realised and came back to find us at one of the entry gates of the colloseum.
My suggestion would be if the company can provide an active number to call in case of emergencies or if the guides mention a meeting spot to wait in case people get separated. There were many scarfs that looked like the one our guide used so we couldn’t rely on that.
