We had a group of about 20. Most of us were seniors. Guide was in his early to mid 50s maybe and very proud that he is in good shape. He walked fast; cared nothing that some folks could not keep up and was out of range for the headphones for many. Half of the group left him on Palatine Hill and we waited at the bottom for him and the few that continued the “circuit”. Then he lost several of the group in the Coliseum. It was crowded and while he snaked through several of us lost him.
He did not read his group. He did not allow for people to ask questions. We were on his agenda. He forgot that he works for his clients, not the other way around. Get rid of that guy. He damaged aviator’s reputation.

Did the tour with crown. After finding the meeting place everything went smoothly. Started on time. Our guide Lumi was fantastic and witty. The experience was fantastic. Alot of people but Lumi got us through quickly. The arena area was worth a visit. Amazing place full of history. I would recommend to anybody.

It was ok… some of the people in the tour group got lost and held up the group. When they were finally located, they decided not to complete the tour. Not sure what the problem was but it was frustrating waiting around for them to decide not to return.
Overall it was ok, very busy. Skipping the line was a nice feature.

While the colosseum is a must see, this experience was marred, as the tour guide spoke very fast, heavily accented english, and was very very difficult to understand. Additionally, the majority of his commentary was about current day Rome vs the long past history of the historic area we were in. The tour group company itself was organized, clearly telling us where to gather to redeem our voucher. It was just the tour guide in this case that lowered the experience. We would have been better served with a recorded audio historical tour playing vs the tour guide. The tour itself did include skip the line passes that got us in quickly. It is necessary to have your tour guide get you through the colosseum and into the Roman forum checkpoints.
I would have given this 5 stars if the tour guide would have focused on the past history, and given much more historical information…and spoke slower, and clearly.

The Gladiator part was cancelled so we did not get the tour we wanted. We could do the classic tour and got refund for the difference (but this is not what we wanted). You have to arrive 30 Mins before the start, are not allowed to „check-in“ 2 mins earlier and there is not toilet at the office. There is not enough time to see all of Palatin hill. The guide was nice and knowledgeable.

It was definitely worth the skip the line tickets & our guide was informative and clearly knew a lot about the history of the places we visited. He ensured we got plenty of photo opportunities in less busy spots. We spent most of the tour at the Colosseum but still had time to explore The Forum once the formal tour ended. For an afternoon tour we would recommend not expending too much energy in the morning as the tour is comprehensive.

I paid for a guided tour that was due to start at 1500. Arrive fifteen minutes early were the instructions. I arrived at 1445 to be told my tour had been brought forward. I had not been contacted to be told this but I wouldn’t have been able to make 1415 due to being committed somewhere else.
I was still given my ticket and did the tour by myself. Unfortunately whilst incredibly large and impressive you really need the guide to learn and understand the Colosseums history.
I did ask Allana whether I would receive a refund as I wasn’t getting what I had paid for. She said she needed to speak to her manager and would contact me on WhatsApp the next day. I still haven’t heard anything which is incredibly disappointing.
