Our private tour guide, Donato, was amazing. The amount of knowledge and facts he presented us with regarding the Coloseum made it that more interesting and fun. I would recommend this tour to anyone. At the end of the tour, our guide Donato was kind enough to recommend a restaurant and made us reservations for it.

The instructions for where to meet weee very clear. The tour guide was knowledgeable and made ancient history accessible for kids. She had audio devices so we could all hear her clearly. Note that the tour guides are all freelance and work for all the different tour operators. It was a small group tour, not private, so it would have been a better experience if the tour guide took time at the beginning icebreakers, for the three families sharing the guide to meet each other briefly and the kids to know each other’s names.
