Great tour. Our guide Simone was amazing. It’s a very long tour and would probably do it in two parts next time as the heat (with two children) was oppressive. The underground section of the colosseum tour unbelievable. We felt really lucky to be able to see this part. My only gripe would be that I’d like to have had half an hour to wander around the colosseum after the tour but I realise this is impossible when part of a group.

We had an informative tour guide and overall we had a satisfactory experience while on the tour. I just checked the price we paid ($130 pp) and that seems a bit expensive for what we got (especially when tickets are to get in are listed for 16-22 euro at the gate). There was a special area for VIP groups so we avoided crowds which was nice. I didn’t like starting with a fast tour at the forum and then finishing at the Colosseum (we could not enter the forum again). It would have been nice to have it the other way around. Overall easy way to see the sites but expensive.

Great Tour! Daniella was our Tour Guide, she provided headsets for everyone so we could hear her throughout the tour. We enjoyed our walk through the Colosseum and Ancient Roman Forum. So much to see, this was a great experience.

It was amazing to see the tunnels underground and how the gladiators or animals were transported into the arena. There is a certain eeriness to this experience, but wonderful all the same.

Interesting tour with an archeologist guide who was excellent. We did the Under Ground Tour and even though we had Skip the Line tickets it still took over 40 minutes to enter. The underground portion was extremely interesting as we were able to see the room where the animals, prisoners and gladiators were kept along with their passageways. A replica of the elevators that transported even the heaviest animals to the arena floor has been constructed and was ingenious. We also walked up to the arena floor and the second level of seats. The guide explained the activities that took place here along with the seating of the spectators and the nobility. This tour became strenuous for us as an older couple and we returned to our rental before completing the walk through the Forum. Overall however we were satisfied with the tour.

Our small group tour was 5 families of 4 folks in each family, so 20 folks total. We didn’t know how “VIP” or hgow
Claudia was our tour leader and she was fantastic! She led us through the Forum and Palatine Hill area first, doing an excellent job describing and explaining things along the way as expected. She kept the group moving without feeling rushed.
We then moved on to the Colosseum and we did eventually skip some lines but sounds like the folks that run the Colosseum are in a state of flux which seemed to make things a bit unsure for us. But Claudia kept us together and got us where we needed to be quickly (much quicker than other tour groups).
The reason we booked this tour was because we got to go underground at the Colosseum and we were not disappointed. Totally worth it. Got to see more, be in there longer, it was just better.

My only complaint is that our started 30 minutes late, otherwise it was great! Our group was about 15-20 people, our guide was knowledgeable and helpful. I could hear her clearly on the headsets. She was easy to keep up with even in such a crowded space.
