Alice was an amazing guide! She told us things as we walked and as we stopped and she found shade for us as a group of 24 as often as possible. I would not want to try and see this amazing piece I’d history on my own. I would miss to many important details! She also left us with recommendations for nearby food and gelato at the end of the tour. Great tour, highly recommend!

Our guide was very knowledgeable and brought the history alive for us. As we only had a short time in Rome we were very grateful for our skip the line tickets. It saved us a lot of time.

My wife and I really enjoyed our tour – great bit of history! Our guide was Stefano, he was very informative and was good at answering the group’s questions. The tour never felt rushed and we felt like we were shown all of the key parts – we could then walk around the Roman forum by ourselves at the end for anything extra we wanted to see. Would recommend this tour.

Our tour guide was Romanian but knew more than any “Roman” by far—she was fantastic! Made the tour come alive with facts, stories of the colosseum and Ancient Rome. Wear comfortable shoes and bring water, tour is long but well worth all the info and the scenery.

This group scheduled a tour during the Giro d’Italia , that limited our access to the Colosseum and worse kept us trapped inside the inner circle of the Colosseum until the race was finished. A reasonable business would not have scheduled tours during this event. I sent a question asking if the bike race would impede our tour and never received an answer. Our guide was an archeologist and spent too much time on bricks and stucco while other groups receiving a broader view of the history. Her English was difficult to understand and the microphone had a lot of static.

The walk through the Forum was wonderful. Great information shared at both the Forum and the Colosseum!

I would only visit the colosseum with a tour guide, ours was excellent and gave us so much relevant information about the arena, etc. it was definitely worth being able to skip the line for entrance.

The guide was very knowledgeable and very approachable as regards answering questions. She really knew her subject and was happy to share it with us

This tour covers it all! We walked through the Rome forum and learned so much about the culture and history. You could really begin to envision what life looked like there so many years back. The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Seeing inside the Colusseum was really spectacular. It is a 3-hour tour so plenty of time to soak everything in. Definitely bring comfortable shoes and water!

The tour itself was great. Palatine Hill and the Colosseum were both amazing. However, finding the meeting spot to begin the tour, assuring we were in the right meeting spot and communication at the meeting spot were not clear. Once we found the check in spot no one seemed to be in charge. Those who were did not have on anything that would make you assume they were with Viator. Even a sign saying “check in here” would have helped.

Guide was hard to understand. Didn’t learn anything on the history about the colosseum.
Wish I would of bought the ticket, with the headset, and explored on our own. It was really not worth the $100.+ that Viator charges for this event.

Just lost for words. So amazing
Like nothing I have ever seen before
    Such rich history
Great to be guided and hear all the history

The whole tour was great the stories told by Elenor walking around the forum and inside the colosseum kept the children engaged and interest. She was really lovely and knowledgable. The group wasn’t too big which was a bonus!

Got a good grasp of the colosseum on this tour. Tons of photos from all areas! Whole family with two older teens got into it. Worth it!!

Francesca was an amazing guide. She provided a lot of information and engaged the group throughout the tour. Without a guide, we would have missed out on so many incredible pieces of history. In my opinion, this made my trip to these locations. Besides being informative, Francesca was a passionate story teller with added humor. Absolutely worth it!

The tour was amazing. We saw so much and the time passed so quickly. Our guide Kiara was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. In fact she did an outstanding job and made the tour so enjoyable. Our party of five ranging in age from 15-59 all loved it. Thank you.

Fantastic tour, incredibly knowledgeable tour guide. Couldn’t recommend highly enough for those that want a lot of detail whilst touring key sites

Great guide! We were dissatisfied with the fact that the toys was billed as s Colloseum flood your but then we spent most of the tour in the ruins. We had to leave right before we got in the colloseum so we could make our tour bus 😢
