The tour guide was very kind and all of the people at the checkin desk were very nice.
I had an average experience, but not because of the guide or the people.
The Vatican museum was extremely crowded, hot, and we fell behind time on the tour pushing me to rush through other things.
The earpieces they give you to hear your guide did not work very well. You could not always make out what she was saying. This was not the fault of the tour guide, but rather the technology. Multiple people in the group just stopped listening because you could not make out what she was saying very well through the earpiece.
I think I would have had a better time walking through on my own and googling the information. It was very nice however to skip the line.

No wait time. Walked right in. Our guide was wonderful and seemed to be an art lover. She knew a lot about various artists and the process of different crafts. She is very nice, too. I walked with a cane and she was very patient with me.
This place is overwhelming to try to take in. I focused on the main parts I wanted to see, and took a lot of photos. The details of the buildings are unmatched. Truly amazing!

Very knowledgeable guide full of interesting facts and figures. The majesty of the tour can’t be understated

  4. Thembelani_M

Great and very informative. The tour guide knew what she was saying, and they seemed very organized.

I feel like the tour was extremely boring. We stood outside in the sun for over 10 min talking about pictures on random board through a courtyard instead of going inside and seeing them in person. We should’ve gone inside first, it would’ve been a lot less crowded. It was hard to hear the tour guide through the radios because we kept getting separated from the group due to crowds. We were literally packed in shoulder to shoulder.

We had a nice tour of the Vatican Museum and the Sistine Chapel with fast track entry into St. Peter’s Basilica. Our guide, Lara, was very knowledgeable and informative; she efficiently hit all the highlights. The tour delivered as advertised. I personally would have preferred to linger more and see more; however, not possible with a large group tour on a set schedule. Nothing to do with the tour company, but there was an enormous number of tourists in the museum and chapel while we were there … this made it difficult to keep up with our guide and to see the sites in a relaxed manner.

I didn’t rate it 5 stars because the guide was a little difficult to understand and went too fast. She didn’t keep track of the group and we lost her several times. But the Vatican itself is beautiful so a tour is the best way to see it.

Appreciated the quick entry but it was still so unbelievably crowded and no time to stop and enjoy much. Not the fault of the tour necessarily. The guide did a good job keeping everyone together and on track, but I think the content could use a more overarching story.

Knowledgeable guide, vatican was incredibly beautiful. I would recommend to anyone coming to rome to visit

St Peter’s Basilica was the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen!!! The tour guide didn’t wait up for my senior friend but I guess she did the best she could with a crowd packed like sardines but well worth it!

Great Tour, Skip the line saved so much time. Very knowledgable Tour guide, great info given and especially the 3D painting of Christ at the table, my boys loved that!!! It was very busy in the Vatican & Sistene Chapel. Lots of walking but well worth the visit. Thank you x

Went and seen the papal on the public audience, we was 4 rows from the front. Amazing experience. The museum and sistine Chapel are a definite must, as that famous saying goes “when in rome”

  13. Rachel_P

The Vatican museum can be very overwhelming given how vast it is but I feel like our guide Maria had a good balance of hitting the main highlights and sights but then mixing in some more surprising details to keep things fresh. The Sistine Chapel is an amazing experience and I’m glad to have seen it twice now. The tour concluded at the Basilica which you could do on your own but we skipped due to timing. We were on a cruise so we took the train from the port and stopped at St Pietro which was a pretty easy way to get around. From the port we took a taxi one way €5/ person and the €6 /person shuttle bus the other way.

Too crowded! Poor inarticulate guide! Late start on tour. Not at all as advertised. Stay away is my advice!

  15. Diana_C

We were supposed to see inside if St Peters Basilica but it was closed so that sucked. Really crowded but beautiful. Our tour guide was very informative but did not read our crowd very well. We had people who were over heated and needed water. Shorten the 30 min story about the sistene chapel next time when the crowd is out in hot sun

  16. Diana_R

Nice visit to the Vatican, the Sistine chapel and Basilica, however, we wish our guide would have slowed down a little, it was a fast walking tour, almost hard to keep up with her.

  17. Erin_W

It was very hot and the guide insisted on keeping everyone in the sun to explain the Sistine Chapel. Her pace was VERY slow and it exacerbated the heat situation. About 10 of the 30 people on the tour went ahead and left the tour.

  18. Hari_K

The tour was well organised. A knowledgeable and friendly tour guide made the trip informative and enjoyable.

This tour package was very worth the money, easy to book and arrange, with clear instructions, and you get to see so much. Our tour guide, Deny, knew her stuff and was able to tell an entertaining story behind all the artwork in the museum and chapel. It was very very crowded during our tour, but she was great at leading our 22-person group and no one got lost and she didn’t rush us. She was very pleasant and attentive to the members of the group who had difficulty walking. Thanks so much Deny!

I think that would be better if Sant Peters’ Church was included in the program. It was a fault. Luiz was great!! He is a very good teacher!!
