Aside from skipping the lines which is invaluable; Stephania was a fantastic tour guide. She was professional in dress code, language, information and presentation. She was also caring and gracious in providing tips about visiting different places. We missed the basilica b/c of Wednesday morning tour time; avoid that, but, she covered and compensated that with Rooms of Raphael and her advice about when to visit was perfect

A truly lovely experience from start to finish. Our tour guide Deanna was very knowledgeable and attentive to her audience. Explained clearly and gave good history and insight to the group. The Vatican is a wonder and we were quite overwhelmed with it but it’s an amazing place to have visited. A good 4-5hrs experience for us. The Sistine chapel was lovely, the stairs up to the Basilica dome also a wonder in themselves….. seem never ending, steep & narrow in places but we were glad we didn’t give up and made it to the top! Also being able to go into the Papal tombs (under St. Andrews statue in the Basilica) without extra charge was very interesting. It’s a shame the tour ended in the Basilica as I would have tipped our guide but didn’t feel right exchanging money in a sacred place. Thank you. Highly recommend this tour & experience.

Basilica was my favorite. The tour guide was wonderful. The voucher system is a little confusing. It sounds like you have to take your voucher to an address to get your tickets but the guide had the tickets.

Really would have preferred to do this as self guided. About 3 minutes were spent in the Sistine chapel from the back. Couldn’t really see the last judgement which was the main reason for our visit. Most emphasis was on a couple of things in the basilica which were not the main items of interest for me. There were a few historical points that were provided that were interesting but overall disappointing.

Probably the worst tour ever!! Everyone was confused. We were the only group who didn’t have headsets to begin with and the tour guide was awful. He rushed us through the entire thing!! We didn’t leave the meeting point until 9:40 and he left us at 11:15. This tour was suppose to be 3 hours and it was only 1.5. He was so confusing and nothing was organized.

The Vatican museum, Sistine Chapel and St Peter’s Basilica are obviously must see’s when you visit Rome. The issue I had with this booking is our original tour was cancelled and rescheduled to another time. That wasn’t a huge deal but we had to adjust our dinner reservations because it was booked to later. Then when we arrived for our tour we learned that we were being offered a self-guided audio tour vs the guided tour we had paid for. We were told we’d get a refund but I haven’t seen the refund hit yet and I don’t know what information is needed to process the refund. I’ve booked other tours using Viator without issue – but I’d suggest doing research on this tour company prior to booking.

I booked and paied for a guided tour. The same day of the tour the guide didnt come. One person of the agency said that he will only charge the ticket and they will reimburst the difference. Still today, two days after the tour nobody get a reimburstment or answer the email. @viator and @romeyourway tours didnt answer and they do not respond or give any solution. I do not recommend you will lose your time and money. Do not take tours through viator and this other agency they are not trustworthy. Still waiting for my reimburstment.
