Really great tour, the guide made it interesting and it was perfectly organized.
    Would definitely recommend.

Vatican was amazing, tour not so much. She spent a long time at beginning standing outside in courtyard in front of 3 diagrams explaining details of paintings on ceilings then ran us through a few halls before stopping us to tell us they are closing St Peter’s Basillica soon so if we want to see it after our tour we need to cut the tour short by 1 hour. So we skipped everything, ran to the Sistine Chapel and were rushed out by her in 15 min then let go out of tour to get ourselves over to St Peter’s. There was no time limit as others stayed longer. We understsnd the closing was out of her control but the tour fell flat regardless. She stuck to a script, she was not interesting nor entertaining. She could not answer the few questions asked. Most in our group scattered off.

Had a great time. Our guide was good. She spoke fast but later spoke slowly. She found a way to get to the forum where we didn’t have to stand in line even when we had skip the line tour. It was great. She is very experienced. She also answered all my questions.

Most educational of the historic past and preservation of all sites visited. Professional tour guides with the information information and guidance to each segment of the entire touring time.

We booked a tour of the Vatican with access to St Peter’s. On arrival we were told there was no tour. We were brought to the Vatican & queued to collect tickets. Then we walked around by ourselves. There was no ticket to St Peter’s & the queue to get in was a few hours long so we left without going in. This did not match the description of a “group tour” and was extremely disappointing. Particularly given that we paid €130.

Antonio (who speaks Japanese) was amazing. He was so passionate and knowledgable. We loved every second

Very informative tour guide. Helpful, cheerful and proactive. Would recommend to anyone e seeing the Vatican.

Excellent trip. Our tour guide Illy or Elly (apologies if I got her name totally wrong)was truly amazing. She knew everything about the Vatican, the art work, the artists. Unbelievably informative and very excellent at her job. The whole experience was brilliant from start to finish and such good value for money. Very very well done. Highly recommend to everyone.

Tour guide gave a good overview of the paintings in the Sistine Chapel. However the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel were so crowded as to be dangerous. I could not hear the tour guide because of the noise in the buildings. Also, she would start talking about a painting or piece of artwork as she approached it and, since our group was large and the rooms were crowded I could not see the painting until she was talking about the next one. There were too many people in all the buildings. If there had been a fire we would not have been able to get out. The experience was not fun due to the size of our group and the hundreds of people that were in the museums and the Sistine Chapel. Also, we were not able to go in the Basilica as the Pope was present. I had changed my tour to Thursday because I read that Wednesday was the day he was usually present and the Basilica was closed. Very disappointing.

Guide was knowledgeable and kept pace going. We could stay in the sistene chapel as long as desired at the end with a diagram. The vatican museums were so very crowded. Took a while to get to the first museum.

  11. Jennifer_K

The guide did a fabulous job, under the circumstances, but if it’s always that crowded, then the tour should start earlier in the day! I’ve never been rushed through the Sistine Chapel like that before where I had literally less than two minutes to see all of the frescoes! THOUSANDS of people being shoved through, shoulder to shoulder, this is NOT how this is done!! Again, our tour guide was wonderful, but the situation was impossible!!! It’s only May, can you imagine how horrible this will be during the summer?!!

  12. Elena_M

They did not wait for us and the tour office far from the chapel. I do not recommend this skip the line tour.

  13. James_S

Terrible tour. Guide was short and did not carry an identifying flag or retractable stick. Lost him several times in the crowd. He wasted time outside the Sistine Chapel so didn’t even enter with us like every other guide did with their groups. To top it all off the Vatican was too crowded. Do not even attempt to go in. Total waste of a day.

  14. Katie_A

We had an excellent tour guide who was clearly very passionate about the history and art. He kept us engaged for the whole time with the way he told us he information, and was about to answer niche questions asked along the way.

  15. Craig_C

It was ridiculous. We are an athletic family and we were rushed through the whole tour in 2 hours. I have never seen anything like it. Everyone in our group of 25 was laughing like what a joke this is. We were smushed in like sardines walking down the corridors for 2 hours straight. It was like leaving a rock concert and trying to get to the exit for 2 hours. Then everyone was trying to cut in front of you to catch up with their tour. Not a good experience to say the least. I can only imagine what it is like in the busy summer season. In and out of Sistine Chapel in 8 minutes. The tour guide I would rate 5 out of 10. Plus you could barely hear her with the provided headphone. Even teens couldn’t hear her.
We did have a good tour with the underground Colosseum. I would recommend that.

First time at Vatican. Saw all of the major parts of the museum including the inside of the Sistene Chapel.
The tour guide was trying to move fast as it was a hot day. However, some things were missed which was explained

  17. Brent_R

We were kind of disappointed with this tour. The guide spent way too much time (45 minutes!) explaining the Sistine ceiling outside in the sun. We saw other guides do the same presentation in 10 minutes. There was just way too much detail and by the time we got to the Chapel, we had to rush through because we had another tour scheduled (which was scheduled 1-1/2 hours after this tour was supposed to end. Granted, the Vatican was crowded, but getting into the museum faster would have been better.

  18. Dzubia89

This was a very organized and insightful tour. The tour lasted around 2 1/2 hours with additional free time to visit the Sistene Chapel and other parts of the Vatican Museum.

  19. Robert_K

Great history lesson while enjoying the sites. You get to skip the line and are provided an ear piece device to easily hear the tour director while you view the sites

We had Grace as our tour guide. She was so much fun, very funny, and gave us more insite in the history and stories of all we saw. She was amazing!
