The place was packed the time of visit but our tour guide Alberto (not sure if I got the name right) is very good. He explained everything so well even when we had to detour a bit. These tours are a must when in Rome. The Sistine chapel is so divine. Although I wish we could have spent more time to appreciate all the art works.

Our tour guide, Maggie, was very knowledgeable about the historical facts of the places we visited. Plus, she showed us visual aids about them. Over- all, my daughter and myself enjoyed the tour and learned a lot of new things about the places we visited. Thanks Maggie!!!

Debora was amazing. Very knowledgeable and passionate. our intimate vip group was well worth the cost!

  4. Francis_B

Our guide had the worst hygiene. Body odor and bad breath. He was very rude to the group yelling at us if we were too close to something even if not roped off.

Deborah was so knowledgeable and truly made this whole experience worth it. She took time to make sure we all stayed together, let us get the best pictures and she knew all the history behind 1500 bc, it was quite impressive listening to her. We really enjoyed this and do not miss the skip the line!

Fantastic place to visit. Stunning artefacts and paintings all around.
Our guide was very knowledgable and managed to get us access to the sistene chapel even though it was closing due to overcrowding. Be prepared to move along in very busy crowds for the entire tours.

Skip the line is totally worth it. Great tour if you have specific things you want to see. Walk through the Vatican Museum is quick paced, but you get more time in the Sistine Chapel. Once complete with the tour you get dropped onto the plaza and can go directly to the Bascilica. There is so much to see. Our guide was knowledgeable and communicated effectively.

A really well organised skip the line tour that guided us through a number of the the highlights of the Vatican Museum. Our guide was great with both adults and children and our two children enjoyed it too.

Maggie was great. She had maps, pictures and outstanding knowledge of the museum. Skip the line was worth it. The line to get a ticket without the tour was a mile long.

The tour specified to be there early and that we would not wait for people but we proceeded to wait over ten minutes at the meeting point before even walking over to the Vatican. Once there we skipped the line outside but then proceeded to wait another 30 minutes for the guides (there were over 100 people separated into 4 groups) to get all the tickets and headsets situated. By the time we started the tour it was almost an hour into the tour time. As such my group had to leave the tour early (basically 10 minutes into the tour) in the hopes of making it to the Sistine chapel before our next tour at 4:30. Plan for an extra hour of time if you book this tour. We were very disappointed that we missed most of it. Wasn’t worth the money for the experience we received

Marco was a fantastic tour guide who was knowledgeable and personable in his presentation and interactions with participants. The information he proved on the history was clear, easy to understand and memorize, and it was not too fast paced. This made the whole experience of touring this remarkable place much more impressive and memorable. Thank you, Marco!!

Excellent trip with a very informative tour guide. Made it fun and was efficient as well. Overall a great time!

  13. Juan_J

The tour organization is very poor and the tour consists of looking at photos in an ipad and not much history or knowledge really. Just funny facts about the pope mostly, very disappointing :/
The place is also too packed to really enjoy any of it.

Kristina our guide was awesome. Very knowledgable and gave us the best tour she could in my opinion. It was very crowded and she did her best to get us through there and highlight the most important items.

Our guide, Debra, was excellent! Passionate and much knowledge about the history of Rome.
    Highly recommend Debra.

Besides Vatican City – our tour guide Deborah! She gave great history to everything around us. She told us where to focus our attention, why, and why would understand the way things were done or not. She taught us the perspective of Michelangelo and the Popes, to the citizens of Rome. She added humor to it too. Even my 10&12 year old daughters understood, paid attention and learned. All this without being overwhelmed as can easily happen here.

Debra was an AMAZING tour guide. She happily answered questions and guide us through a busy Vatican Museum. Always with a smile and good humour. I would happily do another tour with Debra as our guide.

  18. Michele_Z

Our tour guide Debra did an amazing job. She went into great detail explaining everything. Debra made sure we got pictures in the areas we Ble to take them.

If you enjoy being rushed through a shoulder-to-shoulder mob of people while occasionally being able to see incredible art, this is a good tour. We learned hardly anything. Our tour guide spent the majority of the time chatting with the guests rather than trying to explain any of the art or history around us. We took out our ear pieces it got so annoying. We saw virtually none of the museum exhibits we wanted to. Sistine chapel is sick though.

Maggie was an excellent guide. Very knowledgeable and kind. She was always checking to make sure everyone was accounted for. It was very crowded on Thursday but she made it enjoyable.
