Tour was good but as an American Combat Veteran I was insulted by the way Christina used the American flag. Many soldiers were sent home under one of those – she used it as a pointer to the toilet. Completely disrespectful & if we were in the US I would have taken it from her.

A perfect tour… lines were lonnnnng and Christina waltzed us right in as if we had an audience with the Pope. She is delightful… friendly, funny and so knowledgeable in both art and history. She did a great job of keeping our group together and moving, finding the perfect spots to hear her narrative. We loved her way of storytelling, making the history so fun to take in… don’t hesitate to book this tour!

Christina our guide was wonderful, friendly, informative and made the tour very interesting… also with some fun!! Unfortunately we ran out of time on the tour with just 5 mins before the basilica entrance was due to close so didn’t manage to get in – Christine’s looked after us all the way though and made this tour what it was! Thank you Well worth the money, easy meeting point and check in for the tour – worth every penny but best to get a morning tour to avoid the exit to the basilica closing.

Unfortunately, our tour guide was worse than not having one. We learned almost nothing about the art, tapestries, maps in the Vatican, or the history of the Vatican.
For example, when we walked through the map room, our guide talked about Bolognese sauce from Bologna. We would have been better off with our own tickets and no tour.

I would definitely recommend a skip-the-line tour, but I did expect a smaller group for what was described as a VIP/small group tour (we had 28 people on our tour).
