This was a great tour and was to see the Vatican. You need to do this as a guided tour, so you know what you are seeing. This was a skip the line access and very quick to get in. The only downside was it was to be a 2.5 hour tour and ended up being over 3 hours and we missed a second guided tour.

The Vatican Museums were absolutely gorgeous, and the history around the pieces of art was amazing. Very long tour, definitely wear sneakers. Maybe went on for a bit too long, if I was to do it again, I would do a self guided audio your. Skip the line was great though!

Great guide for what is a must see experience of the Vatican. Guide was charming and knowledgeable. It was a well paced tour considering the amount of sights we needed to cover. Well worth it.

David was our wonderful guide, navigating our group through the Vatican museums with so much art history knowledge and good humour. There is so much to take in it can be overwhelming so being shown the main points of interest was so helpful. The Sistine Chapel is a sight you have to see…a memorable tour and guide!

Thanks Alessia for a great tour! The knowledge you shared with us was amazing! Thanks for the recommendations after the tour as well! Much appreciated and we had a wonderful time.

Rita did an excellent job. She was wonderful. The museums were breathtaking. One incredible painting after another. Then you arrive at the Sistine Chapel, and you will be in total awe of Michelangelo’s skill.

I would go only with a guide the place is so large you will get lost and spend hours trying to find your way out. We went in a slow time and it was still elbow to elbow but with our tour guide he showed us the most important items to look at within the 3 hours we where there.

I highly recommend this tour! Our guide was extremely informational and gave fantastic insight. Leading up to the Sistine Chapel we stayed as a group and our tour guide pointed out all of the highlights & more but once we entered the chapel and Basilica, we were allotted free time to look on our own which we appreciated.

Well first time to do this your and we lost our guide at the entrance point didn’t bother to look back to look for us, but we were able to context later in the tour. The agency was not helpful NEVER AGAIN !!!

No timed entry, to many people at one time could not see exhibit, moved to fast. Unable to understand tour guide, very strong Italian accent. Very noisy in galleries. It was very disappointing especially since I was assured that our guide was clear English-speaking.

This tour was ok. It did not get off to a good start. 2 accidents and traffic was horrendous which meant we were running late. The guide did phone to check where we were and told us to run as she was leaving in 5 minutes. We are in our 60’s so running not that easy these days. The meeting point has no instructions, google maps does not take you in the right direction. We literally had to try and race through streets which were jammed packed with tourists. The meeting point was a restaurant in the middle of a square but the sign was covered by a canopy so how are you meant to find that?? We decided to go to the skip the line entrance where we found our I love Rome guide in the queue who said she phone to check it was OK to join !!! Once inside it was packed and rushed which is not the guides fault… too many people allowed in. My advice would be to visit Rome out of season and brave the weather.

Skipping the line at the Vatican is a must. This tour did that plus gave us a knowledgeable tour guide to explain what we were seeing. Only problem was when we turned in our hearing device near the end of the tour, our tour guide lost us and some others in our group.

Our guide was very knowledgeable and gave us great information on the art we were going to see. The museum was extremely crowded and I felt unsafe packed in with so many people. Not an enjoyable experience. It was difficult for our group to stay together.

Took about an hour to get into the Vatican, your started at 2:45 we didn’t get to actually see anything until 4pm. Sat around a super hot room and watched a screen for some while. No the tour I expected.

Our guide Roberto was fabulous… a local, passionate about Rome and the Vatican and very knowledgeable about the Vatican Museums… would not want anyone else to be our guide…
The tour was easy to locate and was very punctual.
Would recommend this tour to anyone…
The tour finishes in the Sistine Chapel and then you can access St Peter’s Basilica at the end of the tour.
    A memorable day!!!

This was our first trip to Italy and our very first tour. From the beginning it was excellent. The meeting point was easy to find and the greeters were very nice. Our tour guide presented an interesting and informative tour from start to finish! Being a Saturday, the Vatican was relatively crowded, however our guide seemed to keep our pace to where we never really dealt with feeling crowded until, of course, we got to the Sistine chapel, which pretty much always has a crowd.
We weren’t sure initially that we wanted a tour but after experiencing this and also seeing the non-tour entry queue that seemed to stretch for hours, this was well worth the price and an excellent value. There really is no better way to see this place.
We highly recommend this tour and will refer other friends and family to it.
Thanks for such a wonderful and memorable experience!

Our tour was great- seeing the Vatican was a memorable experience. Time to explore on your own after the tour. Standing in st peters square- wow. Buy tickets for the dome ahead of time if want to climb to the top of the chapel. Lines were too long.

Good but nothing extraordinary, last year i got another tour that was more interesting. Tour guide was friendly

  19. Madeline_A

The group was well organized and easy to find. They communicated well and I felt our guide was very knowledgeable.

Too crowded, too hot, no water. Size of group too large which made it difficult to follow the tour guide in the crowded environment. Exhibits were excellent but conditions detracted from an an overall enjoyable experience
