This is NOT is small group tour, this is a big group tour.
I enjoyed the tour, the guide was informative and we saw lots of cool stuff, but there were over 25+ people crowding around to listen to the guide.
I’m giving 2stars because we paid for a small group tour and got a big group tour, this is false advertising. If this was advertised as a big group tour I would be otherwise very happy.

A bit difficult to find the meeting point address, but aside from that, an excellent experience. Marco 2 was extremely knowledgeable and his standard of English is better than that of many native English speakers. Really enjoyable, thank you.

The first part of the tour through the Colosseum was good and lasted about an hour. However the tour ended at the entrance to the Forum. There was no guide through the Forum and Palantine Hill. The total tour time was just over an hour; we expected more.

Absolutely horrible experience. We thought we were booking an amazing tour for 1030am. Per the email instructions, we were told to meet at Italy In Love 30 minutes prior, making it 1000am. When we got there, the shop was just opening and we were greeted and told to be back at 1025am. We came back at that time and were waiting around until 1045am when a young girl who did not even introduce herself told us to follow her. She took us to the side of the Colosseum and then left. We were sitting outside without any guidance and have yet to be greeted by a tour guide. By 1110am, we were finally greeted and given the headsets. We didn’t start the tour until about 1130am when we booked for 1030am. Tour was nice for the first 20 minutes but very rushed. We only had about 30 minutes in the Colosseum before we were guided to the forum where our tour guide took our headsets, brought us through the gate and left. This company needs to do better. And not to mention, the tour we booked said it was 3 hours and would guide us through the Colosseum, forum and palatine hill and it definitely did not do that. I would not recommend this tour to anyone.

Wow I loved Andrea the tour guide she really knew what she was talking about, and she was so funny! Especially because of how busy it was, she took care of us and made sure she took good pictures of us too

The tour guide started by saying “I’m sorry we don’t have much time in palatine hill”. We were like uh oh what do you mean we don’t have time? We are tourists we DO have time. Anyway, we got in the Roman forum and palatine hill in and out in about 25 minutes. This was a walk through. This wasn’t informative or anything. It was just to cover them legally that yes we took you there. I flew 20 hours from the other side of the world for the palatine hill yet this tour company ripped me off the experience. I would highly suggest you taking another tour because as we were passing other companies I kept hearing many GREAT informative tour guides. While ours was absolutely a letdown.

Great to see inside the Colloseum and the forum. But the tour lacked stories and passion to bring it to life. Too many times we were told there should be a column here but its gone, this bit has been rebuilt, this is original, this was quite obvious! Had much better tour guides in Pompeii. Was also disappointed by the flexibility. Eg you can stay in the colloseum longer but we are on a group ticket so that means you can’t go to the forum. Once in the forum tour guide just leaves you so no use in explsinibg this. Was our only option to get in the colloseum as all other ticket options were sold out. Since it is free entry for under 18 why was the child price only just cheaper than an adult ticket? Very expensive for what it was. Not good value for money. Difficult to find the meeting point office.

The tour guide was great! She had a lot of information to share. I would have liked a bit more time in the Colosseum before we moved on to the Forum. There was a family that did not follow directions and stayed in the Colosseum and did not return their radios. Then an angry dude met up with the group, got angry and took our radios away. It was not our fault the one family didn’t listen and we got punished for it. And, he should not have yelled at the tour guide like he did, it was not her fault either.

Coliseum tour was excellent! The Roman Forum was a little difficult to follow along without the headset and it was so big we didn’t cover half of it but whole tour was about 3 hours. Guides very knowledgeable. We went up to Palantine Hill after tour. Would recommend a morning tour if you want time to explore after the guides tour.

The whole experience was wonderful ,a terrific insight into the ancient world of Rome. The guide was informative and gave a vivid perspective of the role of the colossium in Rome society. I would recommend the tour to first time visitors to Rome

The tour itself was good (Maria was very knowledgeable and fun), but we booked the 10:30am tour and didn’t actually get into the Colosseum until 11:30 – the process of starting in small groups that came together for one larger tour group was extremely disorganized, and we just stood outside while the staff members would get annoyed with us if we tried to get any communication from them.

We took the tour on June 3 so the venue was crowded as to be expected. The forum was more impressive than I expected with enough room to enjoy. The colosseum was impressive as well but extremely crowded. Our guide Diego had a wonderful personality, was extremely patient and knowledgeable and interesting. I suspect he may have taught Roman history in the past. If not for Diego it would have been a long day.

We asked what’s going on because of the weather as it was supposed to rain. We didn’t want to go. Answer: it is not raining for now. That is not an answer for someone who is working in service. Not offering any alternative. We went and after 5 minutes the tour couldn’t move from a tree as it was a heavy rain. We left it was impossible. So we wrote to them and they said it was too late for refund but we asked before that and no alternative for the tour. Wont recomment you
