I would recommend this tour if you’re interested in learning about the history of the city. Our guide Nicoletta was outstanding. Her knowledge and enthusiasm for the city and museum was apparent. She knew all of the important spots we had to see and gave us interesting facts only a true expert would know. She was very patient and let us take our time with the art and in the Sistine Chapel, which was very much appreciated. After the museum and the Chapel, we were free to stay in the gardens or to follow her to St. Peter’s Basilica. It was a great time spent.

Nicoletta was wonderful and knew so much. It was a great experience! I recommend the tour, which is of the Vatican museums. You are then free to explore St. Peter’s and the square on your own.

The tour guide was very knowledgeable. There were many exhibits and museums to explore. One could spend multiple days examining the exhibits.

Great tour, very knowledgeable and great communication throughout the tour. All questions answered and flexible itinerary allowed us to pop into the galleries we where we really wanted to see something .

Marta was an amazing guide. She was very kind, knowledgeable and informative. My only disappointment was that the tour was supposed to include St. Peter’s Basilica and it did not.

We had a semi-private tour with Andrea, who was very informative and humorous with a lot of excitement describing events that happened eons ago!! Literally, we now understand why Rome wasn’t built in a day.

We had a great time with Fred. He was passionate and very informative regarding the history of both Rome and the Vatican. We would definitely recommend this trip to anyone interested in learning some history!

I dont normally do tours, but this one was amazing! it was a small group of 11-12 people. definitely felt personal as opposed to those huge groups of 20+ i saw there. the tour guide was very knowledgable and got us to see alot of stuff on the grounds and lead us to a seperate entry not allowed unless your in a guided tour. i would def reccomend this one!

Getting pushed along by wall to wall people (crowd) , being told to stay together (small group of 28?)so to not stop and take photos unless the tour leader call for all to stop (not her fault -she was just doing as instructed -assumed)
2 hr tour (45mins just to get together and thru security and to first point of interest)
It’s a quick walk thru no time to observe at your leisure Buy a skip ticket do it yourself -enjoy the experience
So overpriced -underdelivered and not told before that the basilica (st Peters) was not available/no option of refund or discount.
Have used Viator several times but this is their biggest let down. Extremely disappointing.

The Sistine chapel and tapestry gallery were the most impressive. Appreciated all of Dress guidance and knowledge.

The intricate facts that were shared with us really made the tour even more special. Being able to connect with the art on such a personal way was really helpful!

The artwork inside the Vatican Museum and the majestic stance of St. Peter’s Basilica. It’s overwhelming to stand on the same grounds where the Catholicism was born.
