Very disappointed, no time for shopping, eating, exploring. No clear directions, just you can go here. No mention whatsoever of Outlander sites. We left late because we waited first for a family that wandered off and then for another family who was late. Total time lost 1 hour and then we got back to our cruise early. The guide, while well versed on history, tended to rush ahead of the group, so many of us could not hear her. A most disorganized tour. Why would you inconvenience us all, when people are late?

The tour was good, Becky was a great tour guide, very informative. My tour was changed a few days before departing, but Maxine accommodated the castle Urquhart that I wanted to visit. My only thing I wish was different was our time there was so short I hardly had time to see the castle, no time for the gift shop . It was too rushed. My original tour I had booked allowed I think it was 1 1/2 to 2 hours at the castle. I did appreciate Maxine making sure I saw the castle, but I wish I had know sooner if the tour was going to be changed I would have made different arrangements so I had ample time to enjoy the Urquhart castle and not have been so rushed.

Visited Culloden Battlefield, Clava Cairns, Loch Ness and Urquart Castle, hairy coos cows on this day trip. Group of 6. Becky was an amazing guide, providing a wealth of local history, regional history and current events in a very enthusiastic and accommodating manner. Highly recommend!

Having booked a private tour for our family and arriving and being placed in a coach with 40+ people, not being able to visit a few sites due to the size of the vehicle and not having the personal experience we had on our private tour the day before forms the basis of my review score. We didn’t have a lot of time to visit each site due to the beginning mix up and pick up issues, missing guests. The locations we did go to, Urquhart Castle and Culloden were very good locations. Not enough time at the Castle. We barely got to see Inverness with just over 45 minutes before we got off the bus and could get anywhere. No Outlander sites and but for being at Lochness at the castle, no other mention or visit to it. It was unfortunate as this area of Scotland is rich in our family history and there were some sites we would have had plenty of time to pop in along the way that were specific to our family history. Having not got the private tour we paid for and little compensation for missing out on some family history, and not seeing Highland cows and missing out on the standing stones used in the filming of Outlander made for a disappointing day. That being said, the tour guide was knowledgeable and provided us with a number of historical and interesting facts along the way.

Becky and Stewart did an outstanding job. Loved it!
Went out of there way to find a gift shop for us.

Our guide David was incredible. We did many tours during our European trip and this was by far our favorite. David is a local and you can tell that he feels that it is a privilege to be able to share his city and surrounding cities with you. Don’t hesitate to book this tour, A++.
