Luke our tour guide was phenomenal and added lots of personal touches to make the overall tour experience great. We enjoyed all the sights and even had fun during the travel to and from each spot. Really happy we took the tour while in Inverness.

I can not recommend this tour enough! For the price it is worth every penny you pay! It is very well organised and the amount of places you visit, stories you hear makes it a very interesting trip, so all these hours just fly by. Our tour guide Marita was absolutely brilliant: witty, good spirits and with a typical Scottish good mood we felt welcomed and looked after. In one day you will get everything you need: history, beautiful scenery, the best of Highlands, the best of amazing Scotland!

Love the whole experience, the castle, boat ride, the Falls and the highland coos. Luke was very knowledgeable and funny. He made our last tour in Inverness memorable.

Andy was a great driver and very informative, would recommend tour for sure! Loch Ness cruise was excellent!
AnnaLena_W –
Exactly as described by the other commentators. Great value for money. Don’t recommend the boat tour on Loch Ness that they refer you to, though – very crowded, very hectic (was there on Good Friday, but I’m sure it doesn’t get much better the warmer the weather becomes).

We’ve done several trips while on holiday and this was our favorite! The small group size meant we could get in and out of places more quickly- and see more.
Our tour guide, Sandy, was friendly and thoughtful. He let the group choose what we wanted to do (a stop at a gorgeous Loch Ness spot or Clava Cairns, for example) and gave helpful tips at the stops where we had time to explore on our own. He also let us get out for some cool pics along the way. The weather was so nice, we walked up a hill at a viewing point and got to see the most beautiful landscapes from above!
The only suggestion for the tour itself is to arrange purchase of tickets to Urquhart Castle ahead of time. We really loved that it was the first stop – right when the castle opened – so we were able to take pictures without a ton of people in them!
(There was an option to do a Loch Ness cruise at the Augustus stop and that worked out well. On one of the stops, we gave Sandy quid for anyone who wanted to do the tour and he bought the block of tickets before we got to the stop. That was very efficient.)
In summary, great tour, great tour guide, we were very lucky with the weather, and this was our favorite tour out of Secretary that we did! Thank you, Sandy, and thank you, Timberbush Tours, for a lovely day!

Guide was great, trip was fun! This is an awesome way to cover a lot of ground in a low stress, good paced way. I’d recommend the cruise and castle admission, both are worth the price
Lorraine_M –
We had a great time. Jack was terrific, telling us stories that were historical, funny, and entertaining. He was ultimately flexible. When 2 women missed the bus, and then ended up following us, he took the time to repeat his spiel at every stop. He showed us major attractions and hidden treasures. We really enjoyed our day!
Michelle_S –
The most memorable part was the walk through the Highlands we got to do. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking.
Valerie_L –
We got off to a slow start with van problems but we had a lovely day. Jack was funny and kind to my sister who was having unexpected mobility issues. Our favorite place was Fort Augustus and watching the boats for thru the locks. We recommend Jack and this tour too

Alex was an amazing tour guide. I loved having a small bus, and he made sure to stop at every hood site along the way. His history and storytelling were fantastic and he made the day easy and wonderful, filled with Scottish sites and history.

With Jack, this was our second tour and I must repeat, Jack is a terrific tour guide. He takes the time to provide all the details only a native would know. We recommend this tour to anyone who would like to experience more of highlands in a day.
