Great tour that took us to all the major sites we wanted to see while in Inverness. Our guide Stuart was very knowledgeable and accomadating. The van is comfortable and we loved the small group atmosphere. It’s well worth the price and I would highly recommend!

  2. chris_m

Among the best day tours I have ever taken. Stuart was informative, knowledgeable, and funny. He turned a rainy day into an enjoyable and educational adventure. The tour underscored what we already love about Scotand-the people, the history, and the pride of place. We will be back!

  3. patricia_e

Dave with Happy Tours was a fantastic tour guide! He shared many neat stories and interesting facts. The time length was perfect as well as sites we visited!

  4. David_G

They say that the tour guide is what makes the tour and Stuart was certainly the correct tour guide. Would like to be able to do it all again.

  5. Madison_C

This was an excellent tour, our guide Stuart was very knowledgeable and funny. We had a great time and would highly recommend.

  6. Michael_W

William made the tour memorable and great fun. He’s from Inverness, considers himself a proper Highlander, and is full of stories and knowledge that only someone of the culture can impart. We not only saw the sights but glimpsed the deeper way of life that makes the Highlands such a unique place to visit. Best experience we had on our 3 week sojourn of England and Scotland.

  7. Gail_C

No, we didn’t see Nessie but it didn’t matter. We had a great time with William. He was entertaining, very knowledgeable about the locations and their histories and made the drive time lots of fun. I would recommend this trip to anyone who wants to see the highlights around Inverness. Slainte Mhaith William!

  8. Lisa_M

Wonderful day seeing the Scottish countryside, looking for Nessy at Loch Ness, seeing castles, distilleries and some history at Culloden. Malcom was great and very knowledgeable. I would do this tour again!

  9. Jacque_A

Craig was amazing!! Definitely recommend. We learned so much. Stopping for a whiskey tasting was a happy surprise.

  10. Viki_P

Culloden Battlefield was the highlight. Beautiful scenery. Fun day with Craig, a very knowledgeable guide.

Our driver guide, William was great, informative friendly and knowledgeable. But, I was disappointed at thee time spent at Culloden. I would have preferred to skip other places for more time there.

  13. Larry_M

Our guide Bill was great. He was an excellent Scottish history and is very passionate about it. I highly recommend this tour and recommend Bill as your guide to these awesome places.

  14. Lee_B

Robbie was a wonderful tour guide. We had a delightful day seeing the great highlights of Inverness.

  15. Debra_Q

Drew was very knowledgeable and made our tour really fun. He really did a great job of setting the stage for what we were experiencing and also let us find our way to conclusions before reading the facts. Loved it!

  16. Rebecca_B

Great day-loved it-especially the Clara cairns and the Culloden moor which was heartbreaking-great views from the small van-congenial group made the experience even more pleasant.

  17. Christine_L

We knew we were in for loads of fun from the get go. Robbie greeted us as soon as we arrived and was cracking jokes the moment he found out I was an Outlander fan. The highlight of this tour was none other than my Uncle Robbie. He is a great storyteller, was quoting poetry several times, and was discussing history with passion. Visiting Culloden Moor brought an air of melancholy especially when Uncle Robbie masterfully told us of the events that transpired. He cheered us up in the end when he treated us to whisky and self baked shortbread. Love Uncle Robbie. Fide et Fortitudine!💜

  18. Donald_B

Excellent tour. Bill, our guide, was very knowledgeable of the history of all of Scotland with a specific interest in the Jacobites. After the requisite trip along Loch Ness (very good commentary on the history of Nessie), we then delved in to Scottish historical periods.
And yes he did wear a kilt!

  19. Jennifer_H

Great tour, packed quite a bit in 8 hours. And the weather was perfect. Our guide William was funny and very knowledgeable about the places we visited. The Culloden Battlefield was my favorite. Very emotional, Take the tour, you will have a great time and learn so many things about the Highlands.
