Peaches and Donnie were excellent guides. Had a fun and memorable experience at every stop with them. Although the fairy pools were unavoidably closed that day they added extra sites to fulfill our day. Donnie’s stories along the way and ‘face dunking’ in the river of tears brought the myths and legends of Scotland alive. Thanks for the Cows and a great trip. Will book again with you both. Very disappointed with the tour driver/guide Donnie. Very little information about the Isle of Skye was shared, instead Donnie talked about how much he hated the cyclist and other drivers. There was a woman siting behind Donnie that he had a conversation with. We could hear his side of the conversation over the speakers but could not hear what she was talking with him about. Very annoying. Whenever we pulled into a rest area location, Donnie would tell us how much time we had but nothing about the area- except one location where we dipped out faces in the water. When we pulled into one location I asked what is the significance of the stop and he stated “stay on the bus if you don’t want off”.
I will say he did a good job driving but that was about it. The other issue I have is that the bus was way too hot and he was asked repeatedly that the air either be turned on or the temperature turned down- it would for a little but then heated right back up. There were a couple of people behind me that were car sick- not sure if it was the heat or Donnie’s one sided conversation that caused that. There is so much to see on this tour and it would have been nice to know what we were actually looking at, I found myself googling the areas as we were driving so I knew what we were seeing.

The “surprise” stop at the end of the day! We were tired from a long day, but the surprise was perfect.
The entire day was full and just enough time at each stop to enjoy it. Lots of good history about the area, along with stories.
