Tiana was our Vatican tour guide with Maya tours. We had a group of 11 including my dad who is in a wheelchair and she couldn’t have been more patient, caring and considering of his needs and that of the entire group. The tour was so informative and it was very easy to listen to all the information Tiana gave us. She is a great story teller and was very cheerful, friendly and warm. Would highly recommend this company for the Vatican tour. They looked after us so well and it included earphone sets so you could hear the information clearly. Tiana even took a photo of our family. Excellent tour. Even better tour guide.

Not only was she incredibly knowledgeable, but also very warm and super charming. She would be the perfect dinner party guest. She was incredibly patient fielding our 1000s of questions and injected her answers with humour, wit, and huge domain expertise. Make sure to ask for her when you book this experience.

Unfortunately the Vatican was jammed packed with people….I’ve been there 3 times and was disappointed my son in law had to experience that. This was not our tour guide Umbertos fault. He made the best of the tour which allowed us to see the important parts of the Vatican.

I would in hindsight have chosen to do a group tour. This was too overpriced for being rushed and also learning about art history rather than what was actually painted. I also am disappointed that we didn’t have individual tickets but rather had to wait with a group tour to enter. This wasted 40 minutes in the beginning. Ridiculous considering this cost nearly 500 USD.

Josephine was an amazing tour guide. The museums were PACKED with large groups. If you can, would definitely book private – was soooo much easier getting around and our tour guide was able to answer mine and my husband’s questions and share her knowledge and history of the Vatican and Rome in general (which she knew A LOT of).

We booked a semi private tour and we’re the only people that booked- the result was a private tour with and expert tour guide, Patricia. We did some special one-off visits for displays that were personal to us and had fun talking about influence and history of the Catholic Church. I am not Catholic but cannot help but be in awe of the Vatican, with its art, geometry, and historical significance. We got in earlier than the crowds and were whisked around special entrances to St Peter’s and other venues. Truly amazing!

This was the best guided tour I have ever been on. I had taken a tour of the Vatican 10 years ago that was not memorable like this one. Arnoldo was extremely knowledgeable. He had very interesting facts to tell us all through the tour and made sure we understood what we were looking at as Art / communication and the power and wealth portrayed in the Vatican. If I could give more than five stars I would. I highly recommend the private tour and ask for Arnaldo.
