Ali was very organized and also called us up beforehand to confirm the times. He was very attentive and showed us the way of where to go and ensured we were all in the correct place. He also gave us very good recommendations of what to see.

  2. Jamil_R

Everything worked out smoothly. Except our time was postponed twice for each 15 minutes. The organizers were really nice. I would book again with them if I travel to Rome.

  3. Anthony_C

Was hesitant just based on the fact there wasn’t as many reviews, but we arrived, they gave us tickets and off we went! Simple and easy.

I booked a visit to the Vatican and Sistine chapel for myself, my husband and 9 month old. We were greeted at the meeting point by Ali who was so friendly and extremely helpful and considerate of the fact we had a baby with us. Ali took us into the entrance of the the Vatican museum, which was completely jam packed with people. Ali kindly acquired tickets for the entire group without us having to spend time queuing and paying over the odds.
The only thing I would point out is that the Sistine chapel is definitely not stroller friendly and I wish we had just taken our son in a carrier. Me and my husband were having to carry the stroller up and down flights of stairs, which wasn’t easy as some of the staircases were narrow and people just push past you. Other than that, I’m happy that we pre booked our tickets.

  5. Tanya_B

The agent was prompt and even called me to make sure I knew the address of our meeting location. He walked us over to the Vatican museum and got our tickets immediately. Great service!

  6. Iris_W

Terrible tour guide, terrible operator, I would recommend signing another group to represent you. The tour guide was extremely disorganized unprofessional would not use again

  7. Iris_W

Unfortunately on this one the tour operator you have on your behalf, is very disorganized, was a horrible tour guide. Would not recommend this tour using that tour guide again.

  8. Oliva_T

Ali called us earlier in the day to remind us of our time. Even so we were a few minutes late, and missed our group time. Ali was able to fit us in with the next tour. He even got us a wheelchair for me. He and his staff were very helpful!!!

  9. Biljana_V

The agent was prompt and polite. He escorted us to Vatican museum. He got our tickets immediately and even helped us carrying the stroller with the baby up the stairs on the way to the museum. Well appreciated. We are happy with the service! Everything was as described.

Personal from Viator was very friendly (Ali?) and the Museum and the Church are incredible. It is a must to see this.

  11. Gail_B

Quick entry into the experience. Definitely worth booking skip the line ticket. Communication and updates really good

Booked for 2:30 didn’t get the ticket until 3:45 at least and by the time we managed to get in it was nearly 4pm and it was jam packed so had to move with the crowd. Didn’t get any map to the museum so didn’t know where we’re going just moving along with the crowds. 1 hour is just not enough to properly view the place so obviously we didn’t have anymore time left to get into St Peter’s Basilica as it was closed by 5pm.
Also my booking was cancelled as there was an issue apparently with them collecting the payment from my PayPal account even though I had enough monies in there ? I had originally booked for 12:30pm but had to re-booked due to this payment issue so I was pretty annoyed as when I had to re-booked obviously the original time slot that I had wanted has all been sold out, hence I was left with 2:30 time slot but you see what happened (above). I also had another skip the line booked for the Colloseum but they cancelled my booking again for the same reason. I didn’t re-booked as the times available was not suitable for me and took my chances getting the ticket myself at the venue, which turned out better as despite a queue there, it wasn’t really that much of a wait and it was way cheaper !!
So yeah, I’m sorry but I would not be recommending anyone to go with them.

Tour guide although very knowledgeable was inaudible for most of the tour. She spoke away from her microphone and although almost all clients were holding their earpieces to their ear, she did not acknowledge we were having difficulty hearing her. She addressed one client throughout the tour without giving others a chance to converse and her responses to this client were into the microphone and we were unable to determine if she was talking to the group or simply to this man.
Too much focus was on statues rather than everything else in the museums.

The Viator staff took us on time to the vatican museums, skipped the line, brought our tickets and showed us the way from where to start. We spent 3.5hrs at the museums touring at our own pace and with no hurry. I recommend this tour to those who want to visit at their own pace. Thanks Viator.

  15. Aditya_R

Got a message the morning of the tour that tickets were not available and I need to upgrade to a guided tour. The last minute notice made it impossible for me to find alternate arrangements. Had to skip touring the colessuem as a result.

Came to the sight at 11.30 and waited and waited unfortunately no show of the group. Group must have left. I tried to reach the group and couldn’t locate. I tried at the gate, they wouldn’t allow my family to get in to explore the possibility of catching the group if they had left early. Sadly I had to leave losing money without seeing the most important part of my tour. Can you please refund me the money at least. I’d be very happy.

Had a nice time on the tour. Lots of interesting information and facts. The Sistine chapel is really amazing and no waiting in line makes everything worth it!

  18. Kimberly_L

We see a group of 12 family members that included 2 small kids and two strollers. Skipping the line was the best decision we could make. There was no wait and it was well worth it. Our train was delayed and we almost missed the tour but this company gave us a 15 min period and waited for us. We really appreciated it:)

  19. Claire_B

Terrible experience from start to finish. Late to start, Vatican was dangerously overcrowded. Grumpy tour guide.

  20. Michele_B

Best way to see the crowded Vatican museum and easy easiest entrance to St. Peter’s Basilica, even though free you skip the lines and have more time in your day. The tour guide was good and moved us through the crowds.
