    Intimate private tour to experience the highlights of Pena Palace, Cape Roca and Cascais. Sandra was lovely and a wealth of knowledge around Portuguese history. Worth the money to be picked up from our hotel in a clean and comfortable car. The tour includes the inside of Pena Palace, which some may find underwhelming, but I found to be interesting nonetheless. Cape Roca is breathtaking. Cascais is nice but touristy, and I would suggest taking future tours to less crowded spots of the town.

    We had an amazing day with Luis. He was the master at navigating long lines, difficult parking situations and crowded restaurants. We learned a lot, saw a lot, and had a lot of fun. At the end, our friend asked him to stop at a place not on our tour and he negotiated a special experience for us. We loved our day and it will forever be our favorite memories of this trip to Portugal!

    I was so lucky to have Louis as my guide. He is polite, informative, well-planned and born to be! His English is excellent. I am not a fan of history but his explanation was so interesting and never get bored. Highly recommended.

    I booked this particular tour because I knew we would enjoy having a dedicated guide to see multiple places of interest packed into one day. Luis, our guide, definitely made this tour the best day: fun, informative, interesting and truly memorable. He arrived at our hotel right on time and shared a wealth of knowledge along the way to each of our stops – never boring and always engaging.
    We were in the first group of people to enter Peña Palace which allowed Luis to give us a wonderful tour of the interior without feeling rushed or crowed by the masses of tourists waiting in line to enter. From there we traveled on to Sintra and enjoyed the delicious and famous “pillow” pastry (Travesseiro) before walking around the town a bit. From there we headed to Cabo da Roca for gorgeous views of the water and lighthouse then last but not least to Cascais where we had lunch and had a bit of time to wander. As we headed back to Lisbon, we passed the famous Casino Estoril and a lovely ride along the coast.
    It was a very full day but well worth it! If you’re deciding which tour to choose, book this one immediately and request Luis for an amazing day. You’ll be happy you did!

He was informative and knowledgeable without overloading us or the day. Luis was able to respond easily to changes as needed and went out of his way to make certain we had a wonderful tour. He is also a very skilled driver and took us to amazing views. We highly recommend this tour and guide!

    Luis had the perfect day planned for us. We started early at 8am, but it was timed just right as the crowds at the palace got very busy and we missed all of the craziness. With kids, waiting on line would not have been fun! Luis was so kind and friendly (not only to us, but also to our two daughters) and SO incredibly knowledgeable. We learned so much about the history of Portugal and the sights that we were seeing. He also took us to the lunch spot we made reservations at without a problem. Everything went so smoothly – we could not have asked for a better tour or tour guide. Will definitely try to find Luis again the next time we are in Lisbon!

    Amazing day touring Sintra, Cabo Da Roca and Cascais. Walking through Pena Palace is like walking through a fairy tale and the views from Cabo Da Roca are spectacular. Lunch in Cascais was a great way to wrap up the tour.
    Our guide Luis was very knowledgeable about the history and the sites of each place we visited. He took care of all the details to ensure we had a pleasant experience. Highly recommend using a tour guide to help navigate the very busy areas.
