We only had one day in Portugal, and this tour covered so much, it was fantastic! Our guide went out of his way to ensure we enjoyed our trip, as well as to share a wealth of the history of Portugal. So glad we took the tour! worth every penny, and then some.

Private full day tour with Louis and Joao who were wonderful tour guides! They provided a wealth of information. Made for a very enjoyable trip to these beautiful locations. If you go to Lisbon, definitely make time to book this tour, you will not regret it.

This was an excellent trip and our tour guide and driver was great and very informative. We were very surprised when our tour guide collected us and we found out it was a private tour for just us. She also took us to a great seafood restaurant on the beach which we enjoyed very much. I could not fault this tour at all.

The tour was excellent. We were a group of 5 and we had a mini van. Our tour guide / driver Mr Louis was a extremely good prefiessionsl. He knew world history and spoke several languages. He kept us engaged and made the trip truly memorable
I congratulate Viator for selecting good local partners

Our guide was well informed, very hospitable, and engaged in enjoyable conversation. We trusted him completely and we would recommend him to anyone interested in a private tour.

The most memorable part of our trip was Pedro, our host and guide. He was punctual, friendly, knowledgeable, and an all-around genuinely nice person. All of the places he took us were beautiful and memorable on their own, but they were made even better because of the knowledge he shared, and the passion he had in sharing it.
We didn’t have to wait in line anywhere, we were provided ample time to peruse, take pictures, and souvenir shop. Pedro graciously recommended a restaurant for lunch and then called to make a reservation on our behalf. Restaurante da Adraga, where we had lunch, was by far the best seafood I’ve had EVER. The staff were also very accommodating and friendly. The restaurant itself was framed by the most gorgeous landscape directly on the beach. To be honest, if our tour ended there I would have been completely satisfied because it was such a wonderful experience.
Aside from the scheduled stops on our itinerary, Pedro went above and beyond by offering to show us three additional sites in route back to Lisbon. Along the way Pedro surprised my partner and I with the much sought after Pasteis de Belem and Viuva Neves & Filho from Sintra.
In short, this was a world class tour that provided my partner and I a magical experience. We couldn’t imagine visiting here again without reconnecting with Pedro. He is truly the best ambassador a country could ask for, and is truly a professional. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to have an amazing experience here in Portugal.

Great and knowledgeable guides, and a lot of fun as well! Despite the rain, they made the day memorable and were very accommodating. Strongly recommend this private tour as there is a lot of flexibility.

In addition to the souvenirs, pictures, and typical artifacts we bring back from other international travels, our 8 long time college friends will have an additional memory to bring home from our trip to Lisbon , Portugal. Pedro our “I Go Portugal “ guide took us on an all day trip to several delightful sites. He announced first thing in the morning “Guys, I’m all yours. This your trip! You determine the pace, when to eat and when to stop. I am here to advise you and make your trip unforgettable.” And that, he did!
For example, one of our travel colleagues was 2 months out of a hip replacement surgery. Pedro made all sorts of accommodations (Including providing a step stool) for her and watching over her like a mother hen. His foresight and caring allowed our friend to enjoy the trip as much as the rest of us did.
Another feature of our “tailor” made trip was Pedro’s adaptability to our needs. Bathroom break? No problem, hungry for lunch a little early? Pedro had the perfect spot selected….delicious fish coupled with an “only in your dreams” view of the ocean.
“Have to be back at a certain time? He managed to dwell on the trip highlights and got us back to our hotel 5 minutes early.
Pedro meant what he said when he announced “This is your trip!” It was and he made unforgettable.
Last, but certainly not least we’re the character traits, skills and knowledge this special man brought to the job.
Pedro is warm, intelligent and knowledgeable. His English is excellent. His volume allowed everyone to hear his narrative even in the folks in the back of the van. His big smile was contagious and his great sense of humor kept us laughing throughout the day.
Pedro is the consummate storyteller….and if that weren’t enough, he was kind, and authentic, a rare combination that made for and exceedingly enjoyable experience.

Pedro was literally one of the best tour guides I’ve ever had. He was so knowledge about Portugals history, he was so nice and we really enjoyed this tour thanks to him and his amazing attitude and patience. I’d totally recommend this tour and Pedro. Thank you!!!!

Pedro was great! Got us to Sintra way ahead of the crowds – we were there when the door to the palace opened, and when we left there was a line a couple hours long to get in. Had free time in Sintra for shopping and lunch, and then stops at Cabo da Roca and Cascais were great, lots of photo ops and interesting background provided by Pedro. To top it off he gave us a great recommendation for dinner back in Lisbon!

Limited time? Get a full day’s experience at 3 great sites. Small group experience really paid off and our guide, Miguel, was professional, courteous, and very knowledgeable proving very valuable to getting the most from the trip. It was a great day.

Our guide, Sonia, was one of the most competent and caring guides I have ever had. I say this as a licensed tour guide myself. She was attentive to our needs and desires and, at each location we visited, she showed knowledge about the area, culture and history. Her depth of knowledge about the Sintra Palace was exceptional. She was always cognizant about the physical needs of her guests and always anticipated their needs and possible barriers. Her timing was excellent as was her restaurant selection. If you are able to have her as a guide, she will make your day most memorable.

We had a fantastic tour guide (Pedro) who was very informative and personable. We saw everything we wanted to, and more.

  15. Philip_B

Pedro was our guide for the day and he was fantastic, giving us just the right amount of time and information at each stop on the tour and lots of interesting anecdotes during the driving parts. The route itself was great, we did it backwards at Pedro’s suggestion which meant we saw cascais and sintra when they were less crowded. The only downside was that there was a bit of a queue for the Palace interior when we got there but we still saw all the best bits. Would highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting lisbon, we had an awesome day.

  16. Natalia_V

We had a wonderful time on this tour, our guide was knowledgeable and friendly. We were glad we arrived to Sintra early, around 10 am, there were not as many people in line. The tour was well planned and the sites we’ve seen were impressive.

  17. Ivana_B

We did not expect to have an organized trip for three with an exceptional guide. A nice sunny day made this trip even more beautiful.

  18. Shelley_I

Sinatra was beautiful, Cabo da roca took breathe away. Cascais was also beautiful but it felt too touristy. Tour guide was amazing.

  19. Alan_C

The guide is very nice and he detailed explained the culture, history and the spots. We enjoyed the tour so much especially the palace.

This was a truly memorable day! We had the most amazing day visiting Cabo da Roca and roaming around Sintra. We visited the Castle, and even though the tickets were not included, our tour guide arranged for all so we could enter. We entered a bit later into the evening, and the views were really great. Pedro our guide truly went out of his way to make our tour memorable: he was so knowledgeable about the places we visited, and the overall history and customs in Portugal. We had such a great time!
