    Good trip in all aspects.
    Excellent guide, Carlos.
Cascais and Sintra are a must for those who visit Lisbon.

  2. Galina_K

Very interesting tour. Be prepared to climb a lot. Take umbrella, it could be rainy in the mountains.

  3. Jaquelene_K

The locations and allocated time to spend in each were perfect. The guide was very knowledgeable and fun! The small group was easier to keep track of and stay on time to get to everything.

It was a nice trip and according to the description. I would definitely recommend it. I also ordered hotel pick up and all went well.

Daniel was a wonderful guide and took great care with our itinerary. He was knowledgeable and made adjustments to our schedule to ensure we got to see it all. Loved the insider insights and personal stories. Just a wonderful experience and we loved Cascais!

The bus was clean and comfy! Alex and Nunu were the best! Suggested food to eat and places to go. Would book again!

Paolo was out host/teacher /chef. He was fantastic. I wanted to bring some sausage home with me and he knew of a little butcher shop that he dealt with. Not only did he make this unscheduled stop but he negotiated with the shop for me. The tour of the fish / vegetable market was wonderful and only exceeded by his presence in the kitchen. We started with a charcuterie and he cooked sausage in a special dish by wicking a napkin in alcohol and lighting it. With the charcuterie he served us his breakfast wine. He was an amazing instructor and my wife and I learned much during the day. Such as putting the garlic in first then use the onions later to keep the garlic from burning. We had a fish soup to start then had tempura green beans. Our main course involed layers of garlic, onions peppers and potatos then the seafood on top. Excellent meal, only surpassed by Paolo and his terrific personality.

Alex had very good knowledge. She was very personable. We enjoyed the tour with her. We could not see the palace as all tickets were sold. That is the only regret. However with the timed entrance it is difficult to coordinate. Quinta da Regaleri is amazing . Just wished we had more time.

Awesome tour it was a well planned out day with tons to see. Our guide was great with lots of info on all our stops. Would totally recommend

This was a great tour! Ricky was our guide and driver and did a great job of providing historical, political and cultural context along the way. Weaving in stories about contemporary figures as well as the political perspective made the tour very informatively rich and relevant. Sintra is amazing and we generally had enough time in each stop and were able to capture enough photos everywhere. The only improvement I would recommend is the mic sound/speaker in the car. If you’re sitting in the back it is hard to hear everything but Ricky was very accommodating and patient, happy to repeat what we missed once we had stopped. Though we had the option to upgrade our tickets and do the Peña palace, we chose to enjoy the weather and walk the beautiful grounds instead. The weather in January was very pleasant and it was not super crowded as it would likely be in the summer, but be prepared for periods of rain and wind. If you head towards the valley of lakes and follow an uphill trail you can get a fantastic view of the Peña palace in the clouds.
Cabo da roca was breathtaking, and Cascais was beautiful. Overall a fantastic day trip with a wonderful guide!

  11. Nigel_K

Had a great trip, which was exactly as described on the schedule, our guide was informative and helpful throughout and gave good advice on all aspects of our trip. I wouldn’t recommend attempting to do Peña palace on this due to long queues, even in February, however go and enjoy the gardens which are a must. Super trip and highly recommended.

  12. Gaynor_M

Though it rained, Carlos our guide made the day memorable with his vast knowledge of history and his sense of humor. Carlos had to keep the group entertained in both Spanish and English. I would definitely recommend him

  13. Lauren_H

Our tour was amazing! Tour guide was knowledgeable and very kind. When you go to the Peña Palace, spend time in the gardens rather than the palace itself.

  14. tabitha_a

This was well organized and the tour guide was amazing!!! Great day trip! The views were amazing and we were given ample time to explore as well. I highly recommend.

  15. Lloyd_B

  16. I_A

This trip is definitely recommended. Small group tour of 7 with experienced driver to bring us around. We love it.

  17. MAYBOL_H

Alex was a great guide. Very passionate and knowledgeable. There’s quite a bit of walking on this tour so be prepared to feel sore the next day.

  18. Max_C

Daniel was great. He was very knowledgeable, funny, and accommodating. We met some awesome people, saw some breathtaking views, and learned a ton. Would recommend to all.

  19. John_K

Rickie was both driver & guide for our tour of Sintra, look out, Caiscais & Pena palace. We have been on a zillion tours & Rickie is exceptional in every way – he is historically knowledgeable & caters to the level of his group. The tour moved seemlessly with plenty of time at each stop – never rushing but packing it all into one day. This tour was really the best. Ask for Rickie if you can.

This tour was spectacular! Miguel was so knowledgeable, patient, helpful, and kind. He really made the whole day amazing. Of course all the different sites were so fun to visit and explore. Would highly recommend Miguel and this tour to everyone! Worth it!
