Fabio was an excellent guide and the tour was a real treat, we loved every bit of it. Simply the best way to experience Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s Basicillica. It started on time and we did manage to avoid huge crowds. There were still a lot of people there but that’s the best one could get. Would highly recommend this trip. Perfectly planned, timed and organised.

I highly recommend this tour and going early in the morning (before the museum officially opens). Our tour guide (I believe his name was Nico) was insightful and interesting. We got in without much of a line, and beat the crowds. This was my favorite part of the trip!

Our guide Guillietta was INCREDIBLE!!! Never have I been on a tour with such a knowledgable guide! She was engaging & interacted with us instead of just dictating like some other guides. She was also great at answering any questions the group had.
This tour is exactly what it says on the tin & I cannot stress how incredible it was being in the Vatican so early before general access opens. At one point there was only us & 1 other small group in the whole of the hall of maps! It is 100% worth the early start.

Early in the morning to get up but super worth it as it was relatively quick to get in. Can’t imagine how many people are there when it is full.
Tour was a bit brisk going through the Vatican Museums which would have been nice to have just a bit more time when going through. Tour guide was great though, delightfully informative and a wonderful guide.
Definitely would recommend as the tour was amazing and the process super smooth!

Andres with Walks Tours did a fantastic job with being punctual, explaining everything, and answering questions. He is very knowledgeable, personable, and attentive to the groups needs. I am so glad we did the early entrance; it was a necessity! We had been to the Vatican several years ago on a guided tour in the afternoon. Unfortunately, there were so many people there, we did not see very much! I was extremely pleased with this tour and Andres as the guide! The people in the Sistine Chapel that early in the morning was very manageable. We were given plenty of time to check out all of the paintings. Andres gave us a paper copy of the ceiling and wall behind the alter that had a numbered key for each painting to identify everything. Andres went over it with us all before we entered the museums, so we were well prepared for our visit. He gave us about 20 min to take in the Chapel. With his prior preparation of what we would be seeing, it was plenty of time to take everything in and feel satisfied with everything! I would highly recommend this tour!

Our guide was knowledgeable and moved through the Vatican museum at a great pace. I would recommend this tour to family and friends, it was definitely a highlight of our trip to Rome.

Guide was late arriving & really hard to understand, he rushed through the museum, not slowing down for the group to catch up in large crowds. Most group members didn’t finish the tour and went to St Peter’s after the Sistine Chapel instead. St Peter’s is incredible but we were told it was closed even though it was full of other tour guides?

Enjoyed his explanations at beginning, once got to Rafael rooms felt it was more a here’s this & here’s that rather than providing insight.
Still a lot of people going through even with Early Entry. Can’t imagine what would be like later in the day. If you want to climb to top of St. Peter’s Basilica (separate charge for elevator) you need to leave the tour right before get to St. Peter’s Square. You can’t return to Basilica afterwards.
