The service was provided by Wonder Van. Our tour guide was Nuno. He was very polite and knowledgeable. We learnt quite a lot about Portugal history. He provided bottled water for everyone. He also recommended a wonderful local restaurant for our lunch.

This style of tour was an informed driver who educated us along our route, but then we toured alone in the various sites. Alexandres Garnido did a great job navigating the narrow and busy streets. He got us ahead of the main crowds, and had great tips along the way. Best of all, Alex took us into the hills to a small village for an authentic Portuguese lunch which was excellent.

We had a great day touring Sintra, Cabo de Roca and Cascais with Alex. He picked us up promptly at our hotel and we had a wonderful day touring this beautiful area. He’s very friendly and knowledgable. Note that this tour doesn’t include going inside the Pena Palace….only the outside. And because it’s very hard to park in these places he would give us information and then we were on our own to tour. We loved our day but if I had to do it over, I may have gotten a driver and tour guide.

We had the best time with our tour guide, Alexandre B. He arrived on time, was extremely knowledgable about the area and history. The van was clean, and comfortable and driving was very safe. We got so much accomplished in 8 hours, and got to see everything we wanted. This tour is an absolute MUST for anyone visiting Lisbon and wanting to see the most of the surrounding area. Just hope you get Alexandre as your guide, he was amazing!!

My mom and I had a rainy (but very beautiful) tour day in Sintra with Tomás.
Having Tomás for your guide is like having a local friend who took the day off from work to hang out with you!
From beginning to end he gave us tons of information to help us decide the direction of the itinerary. Lots of mini history lessons during the drive which made the stops come to life.
It was such a memorable part of our trip, and we hope to return when Tomás takes his place as the mayor of Sintra 😉 Big thanks to Ana as well for helping the booking process and answering all my questions!

Luís is my tour guide and he is very friendly and offered me a customizable tour to Sintra. We started our journey at Sintra, stopped by Azenhas do mar, Cabo da rica and beautiful Cascáis.
Azenhas do mar is a hidden gem that wasn’t included in the tour and the beach and coast view us so beautiful that I want to come back next time in summer.
Very professional and knowledgeable and we’ve talked through the history and overall economic of Portugal. The seafoods restaurant and the oldest book shop that he recommended when he dropped me off at Lisbon city centre are another bonus for me for this trip and I would like to recommend this tour to all first timer.
