We booked a semi private tour for 6 but since we were a family of 5 we were solo with our guide. Having her help navigate the museum and crowds and move past the line was worth the cost alone. Our guide was INCREDIBLE. Super knowledgeable and made the entire experience fun and interesting for my husband and me and our 11, 14, 16 year old kids. we ALL throughly enjoyed the way she engaged with us in telling the stories in a way that was informative and interesting for teens and preteens. I would not go to the Louvre without her if we went back. She was an 11 out of 10 and a highlight of our trip.

Steph was an superb guide. Engaging, knowledgeable and entertaining! Steph was energetic and able to navigate us efficiently through the museum and crowds. Her sense of humour combined with her passion for the museum collection was very much appreciated. Definitely worth skipping the line and the locker storage was a lovely perk that we were not expecting. Use of the audio headsets was a must. The noise levels in the museum quickly ramp up as the volume of visitors increases.

We missed a lot of the tour because the tour guide was trying to find and accommodate a family who needed a wheel chair. The tour guide gave us a map and told us to go find the exhibits as she had to find a way to get the guest on an elevator.

It was nice, the history lesson we got was great, the only problem is you only see like 5 actual works of art, in the same part of the museum. not to mention the guide doesn’t actually take you to see the Mona Lisa (he just takes you to the room where the painting is and ends the tour there) it was about an hour and a half and I feel like if you are looking for something more extensive you might want to get another tour where you can actually see the masterpieces around the museum.

Wow! We were awestruck. Stephanie was a great guide who expertly navigated us to wonderful areas and gave very interesting background information. We were very happy with the tour and agreed for our first time in The Louvre, it helped us establish our bearings. We hopefully will go back and see more of the museum on another trip. It’s so large! This tour was a perfect intro to it. Not having to wait in line was nice too.

The Louvre can be VERY overwhelming but this was the BEST way to see all the highlights. Our guide was awesome and gave great context as to what everything was and why they were “famous”. At the end of the tour we could stay in the Louvre and see anything else we wanted which I enjoyed! The small group setting was also VERY nice as the tour felt more personable and didn’t feel like the tour guide was herding cats.
