The guide was pathetically organized. He had no clue how to manage the time or be efficient in guiding the customers. On top of it they had the worst headsets for the customers. His mike broke and wasn’t working. So he left everyone and went all the way back to try and get another one. That also didn’t work. So we wasted 40 mins even before the tour started. Quite a few people left before it ended. Pathetic.

Unfortunately I could not understand my guide. So I just fallowed along and read the plaques. My grand son did the same but my granddaughter had better luck understanding her. I should have rented the earphones at the entrance to the museum. That might have really helped

I spend 180$ to see loure. But we were late. They would not reconsider rescheduling our visit. So we bought a ticket at the museum for 17$

Would not recommend this tour company or tour guide (Eric) for this experience. The tour guide was not properly trained on how to use the equipment provided, and he did not have a headset. Therefore, almost everything he said into a head held microphone was inaudible. A complete waste of a lot of money. Have had many wonderful successful tours with Tripadvisor in the past in Paris and other countries, so this was a one off. Ask if company they are sub-contracting to is using a headset.

Emliie was a great guide who pointed out and explained detail you would otherwise never see. Excellent background of the art of the louvre itself rather than just the art on the walls. Recommend as it gets you into the Louvre and gives you highlights you can go back and observe once the tour ends.
