The food, music, service, and atmosphere or perfection. This trip was one of the highlights of my time in Paris.

Service was rushed and boat was crowded. Expected more for the price. Food was good and staff was friendly.

Wow was this place bad. With the exception of the non-service crew and the singer, this was the worst experience that I have ever had and was a complete waste of money. If you are reading this, click the back button real quick and find something – really anything – else. The fact that Viator has this on their site and recommends this is making me reconsider ever purchasing anything through them again. If you are still here and want to know why I vehemently recommend that you run away… here goes.
This is not the boat in the picture. Also, you like how it looks nice and spatious? Also not how it is going to be. Seems super romantic, right? Ha, that’s not happening either. You may get a bottle of champagne and some flower petals for your 9:15 pm cruise, but you’ll constantly be distracted by the young kids on the boat – and I mean actual children, not “kids” in the crotchety-old-man sense – and the people moving all around you, as well as the people that are practically sitting at your table because of how close you are.
Oh, and the romance? Yeah, that’ll be ruined by the group parties getting hammered and belting out whatever song the singer is working through like it is some karaoke night headlined by screeching monkeys. Speaking of the singer, she was one of the few highlights of the evening, but it was unfortunately overshadowed a number of times by the speakers in the back half of the boat going out leaving this weird voyeuristic experience.
The food looks good though, right? Guess again – there was something that was supposed to be beef on our plate, but you couldn’t tell by either the taste or the consistency – they also charge an extra 9€ for that slop. Also whatever that side was supposed to be, it looked and tasted like some puréed baby food mess. The chicken had no flavor, but thankfully I could tell that it was chicken. The burrata was good, as was the cheese plate for 8€ extra. I think the bread was fine as well.
How about the drinks, you say? If you do order something, buy it bottled. The mixed drinks were something out of bar rag rung out over a drinking glass and filled with ice. How can you screw up an Old Fashioned? And what in the world was that Rive Gauche drink? It tasted like a Aperol Spritz met a salt lick. We sent back both drinks in exchange for a bottle of wine. Despite sending it back, we were still charged for both of the drinks as well as the wine. That is what we call, insult to injury.
The last highlight to this evening was the desserts. We had both the Eiffel Tower chocolate dessert and the crème brûlée. Both were very tasty.
That takes up the “dinner” portion of the dinner cruise. And honestly, the cruise was perfect. The sights were awesome and it was a wonderful perspective to see everything from the water, but you cannot have a one succeed and the other fail, otherwise you need to call it what it is, a “cruise with something akin to food.” I truly hope that you have not read this far and have backed out completely, but if you are still here, I will give you one final piece of advice…
Book a boat cruise separate from the meal for the cool sights, and then book dinner at an actual restaurant on a separate night. This dinner cruise was more expensive than our Michelin star restaurant the previous night and I would put solidly beneath the worst fast food restaurant you’ve ever been to – yes, even that one that you are thinking about right now. Final summation… RUN!

Amazing sights and singer – average food and service felt rushed throughout. If you’re not there 15-20 minutes before departure the service is going to be verry stressed

Food was great. We appreciated the attentiveness even though they were busy. Would recommend for any group.

  6. Julie_F

We had a wonderful family time cruising around the Seine, great way to see some of Paris’ popular sites.
Meal was lovely & staff very nice

  7. Alireza_S

really great singer, beautiful views and generally a memorable experience.
Choices of food could be wider though for sure and 9 euros extra for the beef was to steep, but regardless, would definitely be back

I was a bit dismayed that at check in the hostess asked us that if we wanted a table by the window it would be 15E per person extra. My cousin, visiting from the US, immediately jumped at the offer, at my dismay, and when entering there were only a few tables that were not already window seats. In our case, we were 3 persons, so there were no middle tables set for three, so right away, I felt like we were scammed, and so did my well-meaning cousin from America. The food was mostly good (the dessert was the best part), as was the service which was and friendly, and the singer was good. It’s too bad the experience was spoiled by the “pay for a window seat” tourist scam.

    Fabulous!
Great staff, delicious food, wonderful singer, and the lights if Paris, including the Statue of Liberty and the Eiffel Tower!

The picture is misleading. There are no table cloths and table are squished together. We were assigned to another table of 4 mid boat across from a taped up window. When I asked for a table by the window, I was charged an additional 15 euros per person. Only fish and chicken where included, beef was an additional 8 euro. I feel I should get the additional 30 refunded as otherwise I would not have been able to see out one side of the boat. They food is as good. The cruise is as nice, but no narration.

The way the vocalist interacted with attendees.
Several people joined in singing and dancing with each other. The singer was great.

The tour was nice. The food was mediocre as expected (wedding food plus). Had to send my steak back as it was over cooked, but was decent when they returned. The foie gras is pâte so don’t get your hopes up. This voucher covers you for like 175 EUR but expect to spend an extra 60 or so for two if you want wine. They had a singer who was good, but didn’t sing as many classic French songs as I would like. Also, who plays a country version of “Umbrella” on a Seine tour?!?

  13. DIANEW_C

Boat was dirty. Terrible service waiter dropped the charge machine in my dessert and never brought out a new one. He also forgot he had already charged the couple next to us after he had just billed their wine. Lots of dinner cruise boats. Wouldn’t pick this one again!

Nice trip overall, food pretty bland, felt rushed. Pleasant ride. Didn’t expect amazing food but it was subpar.

  15. Rita_M

The scenery and all the various sights. Food could be better. We had free choices however had to pay for beef if we wanted. We should know that ahead of time.

  16. Candice_R

The French are so rude! They were horrible. They couldn’t be bothered to help us with a simple request. I would never go on this experience again! Horrible!!!

It isn’t sign posted very well within the marina
Was told we couldn’t upgrade for a window seat as we had a cross against our name as we purchased via this website.
Boat arrived and it looked nice however we were then walked through to another boat that was very much less luxury- nothing like the photos with a limited view due to a smashed window however we did get a window seat with a restricted view but it ruined the experience.
Menu was changed – had to ask for champagne as it didn’t arrive however the meal was lovely and we really enjoyed eating the dessert.
Music at the end was good and views are great!!
I just would find another provider.

The river cruise should be done at night with everything lite up . The meal was ok. Choice of chicken, fish, beef. The beef was 9eu more and it was not a good piece of beef. Appetizer, side dishes and desert were good. Too rushed and really didn’t see anything

  19. ChauFeiIris_W

The trip was on time, however, there are some items are different from the original order/website description: (1) champagne was only one glass, charges for second glass; (2) starter was different from website and only one; (3) main course choices were same as website but beef choice needed extra charge (8 Euro extra, did not mention on the website)…… Also service was average or some might think was below average….. All in all, average experience for my family….

The ambience, food and hospitality is extremely good. We were celebrating belated Father’s Day and my daughter and husband loved the cruise. The view from Seine is to die for. There was live vocal and must say she was very good. Overall we loved the experience…
