The organization of the tour was pathetic and unprofessional. The ticket stated a different time of departure than the written description of the tour. In addition, both times were incorrect. We arrived at the train station only to discover the train left one and a half hours later! Totally unacceptable. I have the tour 3 stars because Anna the tour guide was wonderful. Otherwise, I would have given the tour ZERO stars.

Carol did a great job as our guide. This tour is exactly as described except wouldn’t note as luxury. You don’t get much free time in the city which we knew going in. We opted to skip the lunch we paid for due to long lines and wanting to see a few other things in the area. The seating for the lunch was very good but we left to get a quicker lunch.

She was quite witty and humorous despite the group being a bit lackluster with their responses at times. (2) I had a great time seeing popular sites especially from the river cruise and then walking around the gardens of The Louvre. (3) Transport was provided to and from the train stations. Anna did a wonderful job making sure people were safe and got through security.
Cons: (1) Sadly, I didn’t think dining at the Eiffel Tower was worth it. The experience was nice seeing the tower up close and riding the elevator, however the wait to sit was long despite having a reservation. Additionally the food was underwhelming and slightly cold. I didn’t have a problem with the contents of my dishes, but others in my group expected to have meat and more. I suggest that tour guides be clearer about which menu the group is getting since there was confusion. At the start of the trip I was only asked about food allergies. I think people would have felt more at ease if they had a better understanding of what to expect during the dining experience. (2) The instructions I received for the morning were confusing. The company had people meet in front of the cafe as described. However Viator had instructions that one must use the voucher provided to redeem tickets. That was very confusing because it made it seem like I needed to go to a kiosk or see someone at a counter. The company should request Viator to remove that instruction.
Tips: (1) Therefore, just go to the cafe to pick up your welcome packet with tickets. I did a Saturday tour with a 06:30 meet up even though we didn’t disembark till 08:00. The person handing them out is there for an allotted time, so please be punctual. You will have time to grab food/ drinks before or after going through security. (2) The trains have USB ports, outlets, Wi-Fi, and bathrooms. (3) If you’re nervous about going alone, don’t be. In the city center, most if not all can speak English. Plus you’ll meet other travelers and can explore together. (4) The train stations and other popular tourist spots have hagglers and some sketchy people like any other big city. Just be smart and keep your valuables close to you or better yet on you like an inside zipper pocket. Don’t let people persuade you to join a street game ; it’s a scam. (5) Be prepared for a long day!

Tour was well put together from the euro train to the bus tour with Gabrielle driving and tour guide, (forgot her name) who narrated throughout the tour. She kept everyone in our tour group together with her yellow umbrella…both was wonderful.

I enjoyed the Eiffel Tower and The Louvre along with the free time. Although Anna was a pleasure to be around and very knowledgeable, I booked this trip because it was guided and the only time she was with us was at the Eiffel Tower. The audio guide on the boat when connected to my phone I couldn’t take pictures and listen to it at the same time.

The high speed train, bus tour of Paris, boat ride on the Seine River, and the Eiffel Tower. We had lunch at a local cafe.
