The driver was exceptional in his concern for all tour participants and very helpful to me personally.
Virginia_C –
The driver was rude and unhelpful. He threatened to leave us behind at Stonehenge if we were late. In his words, “you are in the middle of nowhere and you had to find your way home when you were late. I had left people behind yesterday. We were going on a leisure tour but were treated like inmates of a concentration camp. There were people on the tour who were hard at walking but the driver showed no compassion let alone kindness at all. He was not meant to do this job!
Ivonne_M –
Good tour to be on your own with no restrictions. Bus was cold on way back but maybe because it had rained it felt colder.
Juliet_H –
Driver did not have tickets and after a 2-1/2 hour drive there, we had to wait even longer to get to the attraction. Poorly run.
Brian_M –
Bus was very late. Representative at the gate wasn’t very communicative or knowledgeable. Driver was very nice but info they gave out was questionable. Lunch is in London, not at destination or on the way so it ended up being a dinner afterwards. This is basically a bus ride to Stonehenge and not much more.
Vincent_M –
Stonehedge was amazing. Boarding tour a bus at the station was chaos and they tour workers didn’t really seem to know what was going on.
Greg_P –
I thought when I bought the lunch included with the trip, I would eat lunch at lunchtime. Instead, you wait until the trip is completely over and you have lunch at 14:00 -15:00!
Yamini_D –
Very punctual & comfortable trip. Could be cheaper though. Would recommend as a short day trip to solo travellers/ tourist transiting through London
Rakelle_P –
This trip is good if you only have 6 hours for a tour. 2 hours one way travel plus 2 hours Stonehenge walk tour on your own. Bus is clean and organized. It was not so fun for my teenagers but fun for adults like me who likes nature and history.
Melanie_D –
Very smooth transfer from Victoria Coach to Stonehenge and back. Plenty of time to view and learn while on-site. Trip to Stonehenge is 2 hours one-way with 2.5 hours at the historical site which is plenty of time.
Patricia_F –
We went on the late morning tour. We included lunch. I wouldn’t bother with that and just take the bus ride. We got back to the city after 6. Lunch is actually at a pub about .7 miles from where they drop you off. Place was a zoo. Took over an hour to get the food. You’re better off eating at Stonehenge.
Veronica_Y –
Stonehenge is absolutely amazing! A must see and bucket list item. There are. I frills on the bus. Just a. Bus ride
Laura_S –
The bus triver was fantastic, John. gave us good stories and fun times for our trip. Not only did he share fun facts about London on the way out but also facts about Stonehenge. The part was amazing and totally worth a visit.
REINA_K –
Hassleless and well organized tour. We enjoyed 20mins walk from visitor center to Stonehenge. On the way back, we used shuttle, which was convenient. We liked the landscape surrounding Stonehenge.
Only little thing that made us confused was that the departure time stated in the ticket was 10:45. But actually it turned out to be 11:00.
Christy_H –
The trip was great! Very comfortable coach and the driver was friendly and helpful. It was a wonderful day!
Aleksandra_M –
It is worth the price for the transportation without worries. Our driver Asid was very lovely and the area arouStonehenge is super nice
Alicia_A –
The very late departure and the driver circling around Victoria Station 3times resulting a very late drop off without letting us know the reason(s).
estescarla –
Our driver was wonderful, he was very nice, and knowledge. Unfortunately, I do not remember his name.
Unfortunately, it was cloudy and partly rainy that day.
Gail_S –
The bus was late, extremely uncomfortable, and had inoperable bathroom. Absolutely the worst ride ever. Of course, Stonehenge itself is remarkable.
Rick_M –
Visiting Stonehenge was wonderful. The monument is well worth the visit.
The only downside was the the bus was uncomfortable and the driver was not very informative.
Marcelo_B –
We had a great time. Everything was perfect. The bus left on time and the driver (also guide) was very nice and profesional. I would recommend this to anyone going there.
Aliye_M –
Great experience. Comfortable bus ride with a great and entertaining driver named Neil. Very friendly and made the trip even better highly recommend. Visiting Stonehenge was very interesting and unique.

Sandra_J –
Had a great day lots of people but site moved them quickly. The shuttle to the site were very quick. The cafe was very full but served quickly. The bus trip was well organised and comfortable and the driver was great.
Tracy_D –
It was a great trip! The bus was comfy and the driver was friendly. We were able to visit for 2.5 hours. It was a beautiful day and well worth the trip. I highly recommend the tour.
Jonathan_R –
The most memorable part was the broken air conditioning for the 90 minute drive back, and how everyone was checking every five minutes and trying to push all the buttons above their seat, since there was zero communication from the bus driver, even after multiple people approached him about it.
Peter_D –
The title of this tour is accurate, so just be sure it’s what you want – an un-narrated bus ride to Stonehenge and a self-guided tour once there. Plenty of time to explore Stonehenge, good value.
Danene_C –
I purchased the Stonehenge with lunch package. Lunch should be at Stonehenge not back in the city. Other than that great experience.
Ronald_P –
Great tour! Lots of time at Stonehenge. Did not feel rushed or hurried at all. Did not opt for the dinner option and glad because they dropped us off back near Victoria Coach Station (details said should have been at Gloucester Road Station). Didn’t matter to us as we were taking the tube back to the flat we’re staying in anyway. Solid bus driver was funny and jovial. Could possibly grate on some people though so fine line to walk. Bus got a little warm coming and going even though he said it would be “cold”. Maybe it is for some, but many were shedding jackets while on the bus. We took the 1:15 departure and things seemed orderly for gathering and loading the bus. Left on time (amazing!) and was just about 2 hours to arrive. Traffic leaving (and returning) London stinks, but didn’t impact enjoyment of trip. Like being there later in the day as the facility close while there so no new visitors came in near end of our time there. Would recommend this for anybody wanting to only do Stonehenge and not feel rushed by trying to fit multiple stops in during the day. Fit our relaxed and mid-day schedule perfectly. Thanks!
nillieb –
Very disappointed. I expected a guide who would explain what we were seeing. Our bus driver was difficult to understand and provided NO commentary yet had the cheek to ask for a tip.
Ricardo_S –
We did a bus tour to Stonehenge on June 5th. We noticed that the bus did not have a tour guide. The bus took off as soon as the dispatcher advised the driver that the bus was full. The driver did not bother to count the passengers before we left. As far as I noticed, the bus was full, i.e. there was no empty seat.
When we were about to leave Stonehenge, the bus driver again did not count the passengers on board before he drove us off back to London. His only concern was leaving as per the designated time of departure. I could swear that there were about 7 empty seats on our drive back from Stonehenge. I would not be surprised if there were a couple of passengers that were left behind at Stonehenge. In case there is such a complaint about passengers being left behind, the Tour Provider was Premium Tours and the driver’s name was Tyler.
