Great tour! Unfortunately, there was a lot of traffic in London that morning so our driver was 1 hour late to pick us up – but the waiting area is nice & clean so it wasn’t horrible. We were promised our 2 hours at Stonehenge regardless of the time we arrived – and Evan Evans kept their promise. Driver was quiet, but very nice. He made sure everyone was back before leaving. Drove quickly, but safely. Stonehenge was absolutely amazing! I felt like 2 hours was plenty of time to see – but definitely take food so you don’t waste any time!

Enjoyed it! Tip: just make sure to use the bathroom before meeting at Evan Evans. There is not one on the bus or at the office. You will have a chance to use the toilets at Stonehenge.

I just spent 10 minutes writing a thoughtful and well crafted review of this tour, and the stupid Viator app decided to completely erase it before I could post it, because I dared minimize the app to check the specific details in my notes app.
I don’t have the time or patience to write all that again. So I’ll keep it short. I enjoyed seeing Stonehenge, but this “extra time” tour felt far too rushed. I hate to imagine what the “normal” tour is like. We didn’t even have an hour and a half at the site before having to be back at the bus.
My advice is, if you truly want to spend extra time, you may want to forget the tour and find a way to travel there on your own terms. You can buy a ticket for entry once you’re there.

The trip began half an hour late and ended more than an hour later than expected. The explanation to both delays is “traffic in London”. I expect the vendor to be accountable to the times he states, I know of people who were in jeopardy of missing their flight due to these delays.
The trip itself was fine and met our expectations.

Had a very pleasant experience with this trip. There is a shuttle option once arriving at stonehenge visitor center which was nice. There was heavy traffic getting back into London so plan accordingly is advised. 🙂

Everything was well organized. The audio guide was very helpful to enhance our visit. The bus was clean and had WiFi.

Stonehewas great! The traffic out of and into london was horrible. Qe felt rushed to go see the rocks and get back to the bus.

    This tour was objectively horrible.
The entire trip was supposed to be six hours and we spent almost seven hours just on the bus. We got back three hours late and had to miss out on other plans we had made.
To be fair, the traffic was bad, so it’s not (entirely) the driver’s fault. The accident he got into coming back is more of an open question, but the driver was a prince compared to the rude and uncommunicative front desk staff.
And when they say the tour is unguided, they really, really mean it. The provide an audio guide, but they don’t provide what a visitor really needs: a basic overview of how to experience the site and get to the stones. Get on the bus, be back by this time, get off the bus, and then get back on the bus. And that’s about it.
The tour was essentially a butt-numbing seven-hour Uber ride. If that’s your thing, go for it: but I wouldn’t recommend it.

Viator should know how badly the traffic in and around London but the “half day” packet (we went in early April) description online still telling people the trip will end at Victoria station at 3:30pm! As a matter of fact, it’ll end almost at 7pm though I don’t see any special thing happens but just regular traffic jam. Be mind of this and don’t make any arrangements if you decide to go for this so called “half day” trip and the packet information is miss leading!

Tour operator completely failed. Did not give us a briefing about trip details. Did not tell us what the wristbands were for. Did not have a safety briefing on the bus. Did not tell us how long the bus ride would last. Did not tell us when to return to the bus. Nobody with the tour operator even spoke a single word to us in fact. It was really pathetic. I cannot recommend this tour operator.

The coach that took us was very nice. The trip over all was fun and a really cool experience. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to visit the Stonehenge but doesn’t want to be in a huge tour group and just wants to explore on their own.

Stonehenge was great but the bus had no AC and it was hot and miserable for everyone. The few instructions were not clear so some time wasted when we got to the parking area. I would use a different company next time.

Although the initial trip to the Stonehenge went without incident, the return trip was marked by an incident where our driver began fighting with another bus driver on the street for more than half an hour, refusing to let passengers off board in the meantime, which greatly delayed our plans for the rest of the day. The tour company did not provide any apology or compensation for the incident.

My husband and I got to the location 10 mins early. We were told to go the coach bus to start the tour. The tour operators put us on the wrong bus. The place was 2 hours away and they refused to accommodate us. My husband and I paid for a cab to get to Stonehenge and tickets to get in. We called viator the entire day for assistance and they relied on the local tour to refund us. Nor viator or the local tour operators took accountability. I would never use Viator or Evans Evans Tour again.

Actually didn’t go. Two of us were sick all night and couldn’t go or get a refund.
The rest of our family enjoyed it

It was a good trip. I did not find any available audio if you do not have a phone.
    The driver was great.

Comfortable transportation, very friendly driver and plenty of time at Stonehenge. Evans and Evans planned a great day for us.

We did the morning tour for this trip! The bus was clean and spacious. We had a little over an hour to tour the stones and they offered a place to download an app for a free audio guide before we boarded the bus. There was a restroom on the bus but no WiFi (it was a newly purchased bus so it wasn’t available). The bus returned 1.5 hours later than the designated 3pm return time provided on the website (bad traffic). So plan accordingly! Other than the WiFi and return time, it was a pretty cool trip! We did stop to purchase food at a rest stop and there was food and drinks available at the Stonehenge store. We were also able to eat and drink on the bus as well!

This was a great tour and we liked Peter our bus driver. We DID NOT have extra time we had less than 90 mins from when we exited the bus to when we had to be back 30+ mins were just trying to get the shuttle back and forth from the stones. We had no time in the visitor center or anything else. Not sure if a tour without extra time is even worth it. The Viator said we would have 2 hours we had less than 90 mins.
