Chrissy was the best tour guide offering so much interesting information without being overwhelming. Everyone appreciated the sense of humour and the practical advice. The tour was very well organised with a clean coach and a competent and polite driver.

  2. Laurie_M

Andrew was a wonderful guide! Loved the palace and town, and the Downton Abbey filming sites were so much fun to see.

  3. shannon_e

The tour was amazing…the tour guide and driver very helpful and knowledgeable. Highly recommend this tour!

  4. dphansen1

Blenheim was incredible. The palace and history and exhibits were really interesting and beautiful. The Cotswolds was a nice drive through and not as much time spent there as you’d like. But a nice taste. The Downton Abbey village was a cute peak. Thank you Chrissy & Ahmed.

The trip was amazing. Chrissy, our guide was wonderful as well as our driver. The Palace and grounds were beautiful. The downton village was tiny but so pretty. Be prepared to have 20 pence to use the toilets there.
We stopped at Bourton on the water, a lovely village and shopped around. A wonderful day.

  6. Wanda_D

Chrissy was very informative of the sights of London on our way out of the city. She engaged through the who trip with facts and stories, as well as pointing out don’t miss opportunities. Aman the driver was very good with every and drove flawlessly.

Our trip to Blenheim Palace was allright but not the rest of our tour to Downtown Abbey and Cotswold. Our tour guide was very understanding. I think her name ia Norma???

  8. Jennifer_S

I would not recommend taking this tour. We were not given enough time at any of the stops. Our guide made us feel very rushed during the entirety of the trip and didn’t provide a lot of interesting information. If you’re looking to take a tour to any of these locations I would recommend finding another company or hiring a private guide.

  9. Mary_S

A bit disappointed about the Downton part of the trip. Could be better described on what is actually available.

  10. Ashley_G

The Cotswolds portion of the day was rushed and just a boring tourist trap. We wanted to enjoy the picturesque scenery of the area and saw none of that. And the Downtown abbey portion was just unnecessary and not worth the drive. I love that show but would’ve rathered more time to roam the Cotswolds. We wished to have found a full day walking tour to “hike” the countryside.

  11. Julia_W

Blenheim Palace beautiful and majestic, Cotswolds a mystery of lanes and nature. I had so looked forward to visiting the Cotswolds and I did. Getting lost is easy.
Downton Abbey Village ad yet unknown to me.

  12. Rosario_V

Very disappointed because we didn’t get to see Downton Abbey. And that was the main reason why we picked that tour

  13. Chimone_N

Worst tour and unprofessional guide ever! The guide mostly shared her negative opinions on the Royals, London, foreigners and tourists. Her statements were racist, offensive and vulgar. The tour was disorganised and false marketing – this tour is not about Downtown Abbey at all. Bus driver got lost on the trip multiple times and drove irresponsibly to make up time. Tour guide doesn’t communicate pickup and drop off times and location arrangements clearly and then shames the driver and the travellers for getting confused.
My suggestion would be to do a dedicated Downtown Abbey tour where Highclere Castle is specifically on the agenda, and visit Cotswolds yourself by taking a train or bus. But listening to a guide like this for 9 hours is a torture no one on vacation should experience.

Cotswolds and Blenheim palace as well as Downton village were awesome. Only thing is if Downton was also covered in detail, would have been still better

  15. Melissa_Y

My husband and I loved our trip to Blenheim Palace, the Cotswolds and Bilbury. Blenheim Palace was by far our favorite portion of the trip. The grounds were lovely and we enjoyed the palace tour.

  16. Nicole_S

Our guide, Andrew/Andy was fantastic! Knowledgeable and fun! Our driver, Romaine, was a rockstar, our hero! They made the trip the most enjoyable. Our fellow travelers were awesome too! I enjoyed this far more than I expected to. Bourton on the water was idyllic.

  17. Shannon_M

This is a lovely day out from London. Blenheim Castle is stunning, and I appreciated the 2+ hours there — we still have more of the grounds to see next time. Our guide, Andy, was knowledgeable and fun. Lots of time to see the two Cotswold villages too.

  18. YanQing_T

Blenheim Palace is excellent. However, it would be better if the tour is guided because the audio is not very helpful. Cotswolds is not that interesting. It was also extremely crowded because we happened to be there on a holiday.

  19. Tracey_O

Blenheim palace and cotswold was great but downton abbey village was not what I expected. Everything was closed. Guide and driver were terrific. Very informative. Enjoyable but should not include downton

  20. Gary_S

We liked the Cotswold village with stream the best. Wished we had more time to explore that one (less time at Blenheim maybe?)

  21. Amy_S

Spent a wonderful day to Blenheim Palace and the Cotswolds with a final stop at Brampton the Downton Abbey village. Make no mistake, it was a beautiful day with a taste of the area and it left me wanting to return for a week or more. Our guide was Crissy and driver Paul were knowledgeable and an absolute delight.

  22. Jo_L

Ok overall this trip was poor .Blenheim Palace was excellent but the rest of the trip was poor
I should have done more research as I thought the cotsworlds was a village- instead we where taken on a bus thru several villages and stopped at a village that was a tourist trap
Would not recommend also states the bus would have wi fi yet again no wi fi
I’m sure this post will not be posted

  23. Giacinta_P

Great Guide, really passionate about her work. 15 minutes extra in the first two places and 10 minutes less in the last would be better. Would like to have seen Churchill grave!

  24. Kathy_M

A wonderful excursion! The scenery and estate were beautiful. The pace of the tour was just right and Chrissy our guide was knowledgeable, courteous and accommodating. I highly recommend this tour to get yourself out of the hustle and bustle London atmosphere. Enjoy!

  25. Linda_G

Palace tour very well done. Nice gift shop.
Lunch stop too short. Pub service took up entire time.
    Tour guide, Chrissy excellent,

  26. Lisa_K

Our tour guide was 5 star. The experience was super but we felt rushed at each stop. We just wanted more time at the castle and more time in the Cotswolds. It is definitely a trip worth taking!

  27. Gillian_P

I live in London and decided to take a day trip with a bus full of tourists. I had a great day out and it felt like a mini vacation!
The exhibition of coronation robes at Blenheim Palace was fantastic, and I thoroughly enjoyed the whole day, the guide’s interesting commentary and my snooze on the way home!

  28. Dianna_S

The castle was lovely and our guides were GREAT. The last two stops were way too fast and we did not get to enjoy the spaces. The TV special section was 12-20 min off the bus and get right back on. The tour to the Cotswold village was so lovely and we had no time to see it as we had to get food, eat and get back on the bus. There was no tour of the wonderful church as we thought.

  29. Kim_L

A wonderful visit to Blenheim, the Cotswolds and Downton Abbey Village. Our guide Andy was full of knowledge and anecdotes and we thoroughly enjoyed the day. It’s a lot of time in the the bus, but that can’t be helped.

  30. Glenn_W

We loved every stop. The history at the castle was unexpected. The little town was precious. Our guy was a wealth of information and interesting stories.
