Blenheim Palace is amazing and the Cotswold countryside is stunning. Plus our tour guide gave us an entertaining and informative history of the sights along the way

Overall a good experience. One recommendation would be to spend more time at the first Cotswold village and skip the second. It was fun to be in the Cotswold country side. And villages, but more time in one is better than cramming more into the day.

The grounds of Blenheim Palace were breathtaking. The Cotswolds were charming and beautiful. The time spent at each stop didn’t seem like enough. You can easily spend a day at each location. Our Gide Dave was great. He had a lot of knowledge and was entertaining.

Very good combination to visit the Blenheim Palace, and an introduction to the Cotswolds.
The Blenheim Palace deserves more introduction so more people know about and visit. It’s more beautiful than some of other famous castles.
The tour drives through Cotswolds which gives good introduction to plan for a further longer visit.

A walk through the village Bampton!
I will definitely return to Blenheim Palace in the summer 😊

The Evans Evans trip to Blenheim was excellent. Plenty of free time. Bampton was very interesting. The Cotswolds region was beautiful

Enjoyed Blenheim, lots of history. Our our guide. Christie, was very well informed and spoke excellent Japanese.
Our driver as very accommodating and competent. I ate at a quaint little Tea Room in Burton on the Waters, Small Talk Tea Room – best hot sandwiches and tea! The owner was very kind and offered to come out near the lovely river that runs just past her shop and snap pics of me…”you can’t come this far and not get good pics” she said with a smile. The drive to Brampton from there had lovely views.

Our tour guide, Marie, was very knowledgeable and was interesting to listen to on the bus. We were on our own once we entered Blenheim. The trip to the Cotswolds was a little disappointing in that we only had a chance to get off and walk through one town, Bourton-on-the-Water. The second town’s visit, Bampton, was cut short by time limits because we had to wait for someone who didn’t get back to the bus on time in the first town. No one told us that we had little opportunity to buy our lunch at Blenheim. Fortunately we found some good quiche in the cafe there. Overall not a bad experience. Would have enjoyed seeing more of the Cotswolds,

We enjoyed the walk through the palace with the audio guide. The gardens are spectacular and would love to return just to walk the park and enjoy the beautiful paths.
The Cotswolds villages were a delight, like taking a deep restful pause.

Tour guide Chrissy and Driver Rhoan were lovely. Personally, I would have liked more time in the first Cotswold town and skip the “Downton Abbey” town as there wasn’t much to see other than the fronts of private homes used in the show. There was so much more to do in the first town. When you take these tours, you have to realize it is about 90 mins in each spot and a fair bit of walking.

We shouldn’t have gone on a bank holiday. The lunch stop was too crowded and shop owners were rude. Half of Blenheim Palace was closed for renovations. Maybe this tour should be cancelled until it all reopens. Please notify customers of the situation. Also reduce the price.

Great tour company, very comfortable clean buses with capability to charge phone. Tour guide was amazing . Ran a great tour in terms of time, informational, and great suggestions all day. Great sense of humor and extremely friendly. His name is Andrew with Evan Evan tours. He even went person to person to help them with directions to get home as well as dinner suggestions. Amazing.

Thankyou Chrissy for being a wonderful guide. Exceptionally knowledgeable, helpful, friendly and easy to understand commentary. Paul was a very competent and safe driver. The time at Blenheim Castle seemed short but overall the tour was excellent.

Walking the grounds at Blenheim Palace. We had the perfect weather for the trip. The tour was very organized and it was nice to have lots of time at each venue to explore.

  18. Diana_P

Our guide Andrew Jackson was fantastic. His knowledge and commentary was incredible.
It’s quite a long day to Blenheim palace and return however we were kept entertained with interesting facts.

  19. JoseR_E

Very impressive service and tourist guide. Explained everything in a clear manner that everyone understands.

  20. Tara_J

It was a long day with rushed visits at both locations. Would not recommend this tour to friends. Both spots were wonderful but we needed a lot more time especially at Blenheim palace.

  21. Brittany_H

The locations were excellent but the bus was crowded and hot, and the bus driver and tour guide didn’t seem to know where they were going. As a result, it seemed like we lost a lot of time at the locations we were supposed to visit. The tour guide also did not seem to have a strong recall on her script for the tour. This bus was too full, and too uncomfortable to do a driving tour of the Cotswolds, and we left early and found alternative means to return back to London to avoid spending another couple hours on the bus.
