The architecture was amazing. Some people say “you see one castle you’ve seen them all”. This is not true. Leeds Castle was historical and well kept. A more modern castle due to the owners. You will be impressed. The grounds were magnificent. Canterbury Cathedral was intricate and beautiful. They were tuning the organ in preparation for services. The Black Knight’s resting place was interesting. As you can see the White Cliffs of Dover were on a cloudy rainy day on and off. It was great to see the English Channel and boats leaving going to France. Our guide and driver were the BEST!!!!!!

Chrissy was wonderful! She is very friendly and personable. Romain was a great driver. The coach was so clean. We had the best time!

Leeds Castle is lovely and the White Cliffs of Dover are beautiful. There is a lot of history at Canterbury Cathedral. Our guide Manon was very informative.

Leeds Castle was so lovely, the cathedral was magnificent, so much history and apart from being very cold and windy, we appreciated walking on the stony beach. Christie our guide was so informative and clear.

Our guide Catania and driver Ashley provided us with a terrific day filled with many memorable experiences. The informative commentary was excellent.

Omar was a was a perfect guide. Very knowledgeable and covered so many aspects from history up to now. He has a beautiful speaking voice. Courtly was an excellent driver.

We loved the castle and Cathedral. Not much to see at Dover. It was a photo stop that could just as well be skipped. The bus was very nice.

I loved this trip. Debbie was such a knowledgeable tour guide. I do wish we had a little more time at Leeds castle as we didn’t get to conquer the maze, but otherwise we saw all we came to see and loved it. Also Canterbury is such a gem!

The visit to Leeds Castle was marvelous. This castle is steeped in history yet has very a very tasteful modern flair in some of interior rooms as it was a residence in the 20th century. Great restorations from the former owner who saved the structure from potential ruin. Worth the visit. Canterbury was quaint and the Cathedral magnificent. And our tour guide, David, was a “fountain” of knowledge and most interesting commentaries throughout the tour. Worth the visit.

The trip was amazing. The castle and grouds were beautiful as was the Cathedral. Our driver was great and took us a route to see Dover Castle. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable, however, I felt some of her comments were frankly snarky. But overall a wonderful experience.

This was a terrific tour that I’m so glad I experienced on April 14th, 2024. Our guide, Deborah, provided hugely informative and entertaining commentary, letting us know a lot of detailed information about the East End of London (which the coach travelled through) and each of the sites we visited. Her sense of humour and personal experiences and perspectives greatly enhanced the tour. Leeds Castle was a picturesque and fascinating place, and I appreciated the stunning grounds. Deborah’s stories, which she shared on the bus after the tour added to the experience. She shared how the castle was used in the Second World War for experimental work on reconstructive surgery and how that connection remains to this day. She also told us about how the site was used for recent important political situations. Canterbury Cathedral was next, and Deborah’s use of the portable audio guide helped me get the most of her extensive commentary in the cathedral. The short stop in Dover was also enjoyable. If only there was less travel time and we could have spent more time there, but, alas, you can’t change the geography to get more out of the tour. I appreciated Deborah’s thoughts on timing around lunch, so I was aware of what I could expect if I didn’t eat at Leeds Castle (I waited until Canterbury to get the most out of the grounds). At the end of the day, this hugely personable guide made the tour very enjoyable and informative. I appreciated her patience when one of my fellow passengers was a bit late rejoining the coach at Dover as well.

Not as described. We stopped for 10 minutes at the Cliffs of Dover. We barely had enough time for everyone to get off the bus and the site chosen was terrible for pictures. The tour ended at 5.30pm despite being advertised to finish at 7pm. No explanation was given. Very disappointed. I wouldn’t recommend this company

Leeds Castle has a warm feel to it much more so than other castles we have seen. Visiting here and the town of Canterbury along with its cathedral is a wonderful experience. Our guide David helped make for a great day.

The trip went great and I was glad that I have chosen this bilingual tour. Kevin was our tour guide who was friendly, helpful and speak Japanese very well.
The castles were really beautiful and you can actual feel its history. I was also impressed by the Cliff of Dover. 9000 years ago, England completely separated from France, the cliff talks. Face to the ocean, I felt none of us could change the power from the earth and thinking another 9000 years, what people would imagine how we think today at this moment.
The trip was about 9 hours but we spent close to 5.5 hours on the bus. It was a bit far away from London downtown, but you really need to go and experience it.
Make an appointment for this tour was super easy and they reply very quick too. it is worth to visit. Hope you will see what I saw, and even more.
Thank you Kevin and our bus driver. I definitely will treasure this trip.

I was in contact with company while in transit to meeting point- flower festival caused unusually massive traffic. They left before I arrived 8 min late. No way to catch up or resolve. No refund

Leeds castle and grounds were beautiful. I would have liked to see more of the white cliffs of Dover. As with all the Evan Evans tours, they were too long. Guide and driver were excellent.

Canterbury Cathedral was gorgeous to visit. Leeds Castle even more with his green park. Worth the visit.

Not the best tour. Spent all of 10 minutes at Dover. The tour guide droned. She was very disorganized, kept staying she hadn’t been to the castle in a while and didn’t know where things were, and never stopped talking for a single minute. I felt like I was in history class, but not in a good way. She went on and on with useless history facts that didn’t really relate to what we were seeing. It’s an easy drive and there are some pretty sights, but I wouldn’t do this tour again.
(The bus driver Rowan was awesome we loved him)

Kevin was an amazing guide. Full of interesting information. I learned so much. Toni was a great, smooth driver.
For those with a mobility impairment. It was a lot of stairs. I managed to get around and keep up In Canterbury. However, it is quite a bit. I would do it again though. However, I did not walk the grounds in Leeds. There was a river boat that would have taken me to the maze but I did not realize it. There is a stop right in the beginning when you get off the coach, so you could walk back there and get on. Not quite sure how it works since I did not take it.
I also limited my walk In Canterbury. We ate at the corner pub outside the entrance, which had really good food. You just have only a little over an hour to do lunch, walk around, and get back in the bus, so I limited how far I went. However, it was a perfect afternoon and Kevin and Toni were really great and understanding.

A great tour with the right amount of time at each stop. Our guide Debra was very knowledgeable and entertaining. We were a little bit disappointed that the cathedral had scaffolding on it and that they were filming inside that day, but it was still a lovely stop.
