One of the unforgettable tours. Our guide, who came from the academe (school principal), was brilliant and vibrant. Our early arrival at Leeds allowed us to visit the Maze. We liked the small tour group arrangement as it was comfortable. Best remembered is how genuinely knowledgeable our guide was, who gave us fantastic insights especially at Canterbury. He also took good care of us until we got off from the boat ride from Greenwich. 5 stars to my tour guide.

Leeds castle and Canterbury Cathedral were excellent. The inside of the castle and the Cathedral feels like you are hundreds of years in the past. The Greenwich River boat ride I would not recommend. You are really left in a place after the ride that is not where you started and you know nothing about, is night and it was raining. Tour guide did his best but we were lost.

Amazing trip with Dan and Lucian and the team at Golden Tours. Dan was very very knowledgeable and even gave us a mini tour of the top spots in London prior to our first destination stop at Leeds castle. There is so much history and Dan was very eloquent in explaining lesser known parts. Lucian even took a mini detour to the Dover castle on our way to Canterbury which was a nice surprise. Only negative was waiting in the cold London weather for the ferry through the river thames. We actually got off and took an Uber back to the hotel. It was just too cold and inconvenient. Unfortunate as it was amazing otherwise.

A good day trip with lots to see. Compared to another tour we took with a different company though, the commentary by the tour guide was disappointing. She was friendly but just didn’t fill in the background we were hoping for when we booked a trip with as much history as this.

Pablo is easily the best tour guide that I have had the pleasure of meeting. I have travelled quite a bit (hundreds of cruise ship excursions and Viator backed tours). This was a long complicated day with 4 major stops, and two language groups (party in front of bus only spoke Spanish). Pablo is very intelligent and knowledgeable easily managing both groups while being kind and diplomatic. He was very dynamic and had such a positive attitude. Only the best here.

it’s ok, but it does not take a lot of time to see the castle & Cathedral, as for Dover, it was not very clear & the cliffs were covered in greenery. The guide ended up taking the group to a military museum in Greenwich before getting on the Ferry. My sister & I oped to call an UBER and return to London rather than tag along on another boring excursion.

Armando, our bus driver was excellent. Always kept us informed on place and time for our pickup. Walked some of the locations with us and offered to take our pictures. Danxia, our guide was amazing with all the information about the places we saw. She knew a lot of historical information that helped to make our visit more interesting. She really show her value when we got to the River Boat Ride. There was a lot of confusion by the River Boat company. First they were not prepared for us when we arrive so asked us to wait 20 minutes for the next boat. When the next boat came there was still a problem so they asked us to wait again for another 20 minutes. Danxia, allowed us to walk around the park area adjacent to the dock and she would keep us informed. Then after not even ten minutes all of sudden the River Boat company wanted our group to board a boat. Danxia quickly got all but one couple onboard. She stayed behind for that couple to insure they got a boat ride to their selected departure point.

Lovely trip, the guide, Grace was patient and nice. Love Leeds Castle, the stay at Dover is too short, Canterbury is great as we could have our own time to explore in the town. The boat ride along the River Thames from Greenwich to Emankment was time consuming as there are many stops and the windows are dirty thus we cant take photos from inside thr boat.
