Marc was an incredible tour guide!! What an amazing day in London. The sites were perfectly timed and we felt that we were not rushed throughout the tour. Such a bargain as well for all you get.

I’ve been to multiple European tours and this is the worst. It was too crowded (over 45 people!) and the tour guide walked so fast and spoke so low. For 5 hours, I rushed behind him in case there was any interesting historical information he shared but there was nothing interesting that I didn’t already read about.
First of all, the meeting instruction is confusing and inaccurate so we missed the bus. We were instructed to chase our tour at a coffee shop 2 miles away (hailed a cab) where the tour was nowhere to be found. Then the tour company told us to chase our tour at the first stop, St Paul’s Cathedral. After multiple calls with the tour company, we found our tour guide who was unapologetic and gave me the wrong wrist brand assuming I was another family.
The next stop was the changing of the guards but we didn’t see the actual exchange because our tour guide suggested we just watch them march out instead. The next stop was the London Eye which was fine (I could have done this on my own) but then the next experience was listed as a “cruise on the Thames River” but it wasn’t how I envisioned a cruise. We all boarded an Uber Boat which is actually a water taxi and rode for 2 stops! Next, we were dispersed to have lunch at the foot of the Tower of London. The options were limited so we ended up at Pret A Manger which was crowded and staffed with unfriendly service. Then our tour ended with a 5 minute introduction to the Tower. There was a 30 minute wait on the Crown Jewel line. The tour itinerary lists 6:00 as the end time but it was 2:30 and I was thankful for the early end because it was a waste of our limited time in London.
Bottom line: I wasted $495 for a family of 3 for this disappointing and unsatisfying tour. If Golden Tour doesn’t improve their meeting instruction and be truthful about the experiences (water taxi instead of “cruise” and there is no tour at the Tower of London), I suggest you save your money, hail your own cabs and do this itinerary on your own.

I am afraid of heights and challenged myself to ride ‘the eye’. When I got in I wanted to get out but it was too late. To my surprise I was comfortable because you do not feel the movement and it is enclosed …I challenged the eye and it showed me a lot of London😊

They leave people as they RUSH from one location to the next. Very stressful. The changing of the guards is watching them marching in not the actual change. Ended at 3 pm instead of 6. That’s how much they rish you

Mark was great and his witty humor helped make the day pass by. The tour itself is comparable in price to doing all the activities on your own. I’d say the London eye and river tour you could probably do without – there was no “tour” portion during those two activities, nothing was explained.

We didn’t get to experience this . Driver forgot about us and left us behind 10 mins early. Tour guide mark did apologize and said he will talk to the team about getting us refund but haven’t heard anything from them . They had hire new driver and he gave us wrong pick up information. We felt like they just want our money and don’t value their customers. I had always used viator and never had this issue but this is really unacceptable. When you are in vacation every hr counts and this tour ruined our whole day . We can’t trust viator anymore. Hope I will get my money back as it was completely drivers fault and not ours .

There is a lot of walking and some navigating cobblestone roads at the Tower of London. The queue to see the Crown Jewels looked so long, but moved quickly. It was an overall really nice day!

Such an amazing day tour – the weather was cold and windy but the guide and driver were so fantastic they made it a great day. Highly recommend. The meeting point we found difficult on where to meet the bus it would be great to give a street address or say kitty corner from the bus station as we asked multiple people for help with the designated spot but other than that top notch

She was very mindful of allowing time for us to stop for coffee/food and use the restroom. She calmly and patiently herded our big group through London allowing us to see as much as we could in our allotted time.
