Ben was an excellent tour guide. We had a great day with beautiful weather and small quaint villages to tour. Loved them. Our driver was excellent too!

  2. Glenn_K

The guide was outstanding and the views on the tour were exceptional. Would have been nice to have more time in a few of the towns we stopped in, but it would turn into a 16 hr trip. Our only small issue was that there were quite a few hard breaks by the driver. We weren’t near the front so not sure why we had so many. Overall though, a great tour.

Loved the small towns and charming shops. Lunch was delicious. Loved having a pint in the oldest pub in the country. Lucy our guide was pleasant and very interesting.

  4. Teresa_B

The four little towns that we went to were just adorable. We enjoyed walking around and seeing what was in the shops and churches, etc.. Lucy did a wonderful job explaining and telling us about the Cotswolds.

  5. David_D

The architecture was amazing and the villages were as advertised. Our Guide was extremely informative and very helpful.

Amazing tour. The Cotswolds are totally worth the long drive. The lunch was good too. It would’ve been nice to spend more time in each of the towns so I’d personally have preferred if they reduced the tour to just include the first three villages. Our tour team had to make an impromptu change to the last town to avoid a large horse show that was taking place but we got to see some of the filming locations for Downtown Abbey instead so it was a nice change. Good on them for coming up with a last minute plan.
I’d probably do this exact tour again, it was so good.
The driver, by the way, would make an excellent guide himself. Very funny and extremely well-informed.

Nicolas and Roberto were excellent. I would use them again. Very helpful with my wife being handicap.

Nick was really informative and also Ricardo the driver both taking great care of all, making the day really enjoyable, lunch was good but the last village Stow on the Wold most shops were shutting , if you wanted eats or gifts, really loved Bournton on the Water maybe spend more time here and cut Stow on the Wold out just do 3 villages ??? just a thought

This was an amazing day trip tour that you must do if staying in London. Every town was so picturesque. The lunch food was amazing and a real surprise for a tour luncheon. BY FAR OUR TOUR GUIDE MADE THE TOUR THE BEST TOUR WE HAVE HAD ON OUR 30 DAY VACATION with many Viator tours. HIS NAME WAS NICOLAS OR NICK. Remember his name and you can call the tour company after you book this tour and Request NICOLAS OR NICK to make your tour so truly special and amazing. He even helped me find antique shops for silver items I was looking for. If I knew of any other tours NICOLAS/Nick was doing during my London stay, then I would jump on them in a second!

Our tour guide Frank was extraordinary. He was of course quite knowledgeable but also friendly and funny. It was as important to him as it was to us that we enjoyed the beautiful trip. The Cotswolds are astonishing, so glad we went. The trip there and back was very smooth thanks to our highly skilled driver Jim. The included lunch was delicious.

Everything was well organized and we had a excellent guide. Villages were gorgeous but we were lacking of time more.

We had a great day touring the Cotswolds. We stopped at four different towns to shop. The lunch was very good. I had the fish pie and i was surprised how tasty and hot it was. It is worthwhile to do this tour. Especially if you don’t want to drive. Our tour guide was entertaining and knowledgeable of the area.

Linda, our guide was excellent in her knowledge of the areas we visited. Our main suggestion is to start the tour earlier and allow a bit more time for Stow-in-the-Wold. There just wasn’t enough time to have a cream tea and see the church. We could have used more time in the other villages as well. Felt like we were being rushed.

Very knowledgeable guide. Beautiful places. Good lunch. Great trip but traffic was something else. Driver was very skilled in getting us through some tuff spots.

This was undoubtedly the best tour and the best tour guide in our recent London trip. Nicholas was super fun and made sure we had a good time. He also made great friends with our 9 year old daughter and put a great deal extra effort to ensure she felt special all the time. The locations are amazingly beautiful and a great complement to the big city vibe of London. Must do.

Beautiful countryside. Nice lunch. Tour guide John was FANTASTIC – informative, humorous, and kept us all in line.

  17. Theresa_O

Excellent guide, very informative. The lunch was lovely and the four towns were picturesque and distinctive.

The whole day was beautiful! Our guide Nicholas was fantastic, and had us laughing all day! We felt like we were back in time, and it was wonderful!

Andrew our tour guide was great in checking with everyone if we had questions, and ensuring we knew time to get back on bus. He was attentive to our needs. But the lunch at the Swan hotel was horrible. It’s at a nice 3/4 star hotel, but no flavor to our meal. You’d think you’d get what you pay for. And to make it worse, there was a hair in my food and I mentioned it to the server and no apologies – just took my plate away in silence. Maybe he just removed the hair himself and served me the same plate. Also, my husband had really bad stomach upset and gastroenteritis after the meal. Do not recommend booking this lunch tour. Villages not much to rave about, if you’re into shopping and for little Trinkets and knick knacks then go. But other than that, nothing else much to do. Would not go back or take this tour again. For the price we paid for, it’s expensive and not worth it.

The trip was quite nice but, unfortunately, the weather was rather cold, windy and cloudy. Of course, this was not the fault of our tour/ guide! Indeed, Andrew was superior in every way. He offered details and fun stories pertinent to the scenery, towns, history, etc., all along the way.
My only criticism and the reason for only 4 stars is that the lunch was awful! We had three choices and, being a vegetarian, I ordered the ravioli, which was completely dried out. It was as if it was cooked days earlier and then reheated in a microwave, which made the dough hard. It seemed every dish came with some shredded cabbage, which was also unappealing. Nearly everyone at my table of 6, complained about their lunch as well. E.g., the fish dish came swimming in some sort of creamy liquid with very little fish, etc. The chicken dish appeared dried out as well, but that was to my eye! I strongly urge a rethinking of the luncheon setting! Huge disappointment! But, do remember, that Andrews, our tour guide, was spectacular! We had adequate time in each village to walk around, get a snack, etc.
If you are thinking of going on this tour, please don’t hesitate to talk with the tour folks about the luncheon and the reviews you read!

Nice tour of 4 cities in the Cotswolds. Nicholas, our guide, and Jo, our driver were great. We had adequate time in each of the cities to walk around and explore. Lunch at the Inn in the second city was good. I would recommend.
