The entire day was lovely and Gerry was a wonderful tour guide and bus driver! (Bonus points for the excellent weather!) Gerry had a perfect mix of interesting tidbits, instructions about how to get the most out of the sites, and a very relaxed and gracious tone during the day. This was a good tour, very glad the tour company contacted me to let me know the original date I booked was a tour with me and 13 college students. I switched days! I regret to say that I don’t remember our guide’s name (I’m terrible with names) but have to say, though I expected Stonehenge to be the highlight, it was actually Avebury! But, it was all good, stopping in the Cotswold towns was relaxing, I especially enjoyed the last stop with the church and kitty. The guide was knowledgeable but not overbearing, very solicitous of our comfort and friendly. So sorry I don’t remember his name!

Richard with Mad Max tours was amazing! He was friendly and happy to answer questions, and even learned our names at the beginning of the tour. The tour as a whole was very thoughtful and brought us to places that would have been difficult to visit otherwise. We loved Maddy’s mini-history lesson recordings in the van and all the special details — like feeding the horses by a chalk horse! We’d recommend this tour to anyone wanting to get a taste of the Cotswolds and stone circles without having to stress about planning.
