A great tour for those who who appreciate the history of the area and want to spend time at both locations. The guide was wonderful as well as the bus driver, both had knowlege of the area and made us feel welcome and not rushed. We had lots of time in both locations but would have loved to have had even more. Avebury is well worth the visit as one can get up close to the stones. The small village within the circle was quaint with a pub, church and hostoric home, it was magical. A surprise visit to an ancient mount burial site was also included. Time provided for food and bsthroom breaks, facilities were good. The only downside would be for individuals with limited mobitlity as one is walking in pastures and up and down small hills, We had a group of abot 12 which was a perfect size as tere were never any delays.

Rich was our tour guide and he did an am Amazing job. He knew so much about the history and all sorts of information. He was very funny and genuin as well. The sights were amazing and breathtaking. Even though it was raining for most of it, it was still a wonderful experience.

My tour guide was sweet, witty, and knowledgeable. She balanced “lectures” with an openness for questions and free time for us to ponder on our own. Avebury was peaceful and mystical whereas Stonehenge was powerful and busy. The pairing of the two was perfect and you get to stop at the ancient burial site which really added to the big picture. The timing of everything was spot on and everything was organized efficiently. They even changed the bus stops for me since I was coming from Oxford. Great value and delightful experience!

Excellent tour guide (Richard) and the driver was a great entertainer which added fun to the day. Avebury was an excellent addition to the day .

We ended our week-long London visit with this trip into the countryside to view neolithic sites in Wiltshire. Our tour guide, Brendan, was friendly, witty, and knowledgeable. Despite having a blast all week visiting major tourist attractions and seeing plays in the city, my tween daughter declared the walk up to West Kennet Long Barrow to be her favorite activity of the entire trip. She added that she would like to be a tour guide someday, so Brendan absolutely made an impression! Thanks to Anderson Tours for a terrific family outing we will never forget.

Giovanna was great! We would definitely go with her again. She kept us well informed and entertained. Even though the weather was overcast and drizzly, Stonehenge was awesome!

A great day. Kelly, our guide, was informative, attentive and overall fun! A great learning experience as well as the enjoyment of the beauty of the countryside.

This was a very cool and fun tour. Kely and Brendan were great. They were very accommodating for bathroom and snack breaks and gave lots of information. Stonehenge up close was breathtaking

The lady giving the tour and the driver were wonderful, very helpful and knowledgeable. Even with the rotten weather we had on that day I really enjoyed my trip. Thank you.

Amazing!! Michel, our tour guide was personable & very informative. Throughout the ride he pointed out local historical attractions that weren’t necessarily part of our tour. Additionally, he gave newsworthy stories of the times. The large van was very comfortable. We were given the perfect amount of guided tour time & free time on our own to explore Stonehenge, Avebury and West Kennet.

Beside the excitement to see Stonehenge, the tour lady gave a fantastic overview of the trip, what to expect and tips. And also the driver was excellent, making the trip smooth riding and safe. The small group also made getting on/off bus easy. Highly recommended!

Good commentary by Michele while he drove us all over Wiltshire to see the different stone circles. Had a great lunch at the Red Lion in Avebury. The coach was comfortable and you can go at your own pace at the different locations. I will warn you the hike to the West Kennet Longbarrows is STEEP. My 70 year old mother had to take a couple breaks to make it to the top.

The order of the stops was perfect but we could have used about a half hour longer at Stonehenge to see the visitor center exhibits, and a quick stop at Woodhenge would have been nice as well. It would have made a longer day but it would be worth it – the Stonehenge visitor center wasn’t closing when we left.

The entire tour of all three places was fantastic! Had never heard of the West Kinnett Burrow, so this was quite interesting! Loved the little village of Avebury, and the circle of stones. Stonehenge was the grand prize…so amazing! Our tour guide was full of interesting, historical facts about the areas. Would definitely recommend!

All three sites were so interesting but our favorite was Stonehenge. The van was very comfortable. Driver was excellent and gave a wonderful commentary.

Great destinations. The coach was very noisy. I had to sit in the last row and there was an awful squeek that wads only drowned out by the loud hissing of the air vents. 2 hours of this was maddening. And the driver did not have handouts for us. He ran out. So he didn’t know how many were coming? Or just seemed to not care. It was very hard to hear his commentary over the squeak and hissing. The sites we visited were amazing.

Wonderful day. Terrific, kind, knowledgeable guide. Avebury was a revelation! Charming town with impressive rock formations- more thrilling in some ways than Stonehenge because it is so unknown. Stonehenge’s visitor center offered a wealth of insightful information.

Not being able to see Stonehenge till it was right on you. It was like a reveal. Tour guide and driver were wonderful unfortunately I can’t remember names.
