Amazing histories of Stonehenge and Bath.
I am very impressed with Beautiful buildings of Bath city
I had a great experience with this day tour.

Lesley and Maria were fantastic!!! Couldn’t have asked for a better team to take us around. Stonehenge was cool, but definitely should’ve packed an extra layer, scarf, and hat because it was VERY windy. Bath was STUNNING. Wish we could’ve spent more time after the museum to explore the city (and some of the spots Bridgerton was filmed). Be warned – you’ll be spending more time on the road/in traffic than actually at the sites so prepare by packing some small snacks and dressing comfy.

Definitely worth the trip. A map of Bath would be helpful. Argument between Guide and Bus Driver was uncomfortable.

We had a great experience on this day trip. There was so much to see. Simon, our tour guide, was very friendly and fun! I will definitely book another tour with Evan Evans when I’m back in London.

Our guide Simon was the best! He knows his stuff, is very familiar with the area, and full of interesting info and facts. Highly recommend this tour and ask for Simon!

Even Evans tours was fantastic. The tour guide Simon was very knowledgable, with a hint of English humour. He really lightened the history of the area. I recommend adding the optional Roman Baths Visit as it was absolutely stunning and a real wonder to walk around. Definitely try the pasties too!

The tour guide was very good and did a great job of telling us information before we arrived so we could tour prepared. The toughest part of the tour was no scheduled break to eat or a restaurant with the tour group. It made the timing in Bath very tight and we had to rush through it. Bath was lovely and Roman Baths were interesting but not something I’d necessarily do again.

Plenty of time at both locations, but be sure to dress appropriately for the weather and be prepared for long bus rides. Leslie and Gary were great guides and kept the day interesting and informative. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a London day trip.

I feel torn about leaving a review because I did not actually see Bath and Stonehenge due to a National rail strike. I left over three times the amount of time suggested for travel on that day and still missed it by seven minutes. I cannot emphasize enough how severely travel is affected even if you were not planning to take the tube. The roads are very congested for taxis and cars and there are lines for buses.
However, Evans and Evans offered to place me on the tour for The White Cliffs of Dover, Leeds Castle, and Canterbury Cathedral and I took it. I am grateful they could and did work with me.
The tour was enjoyable, the guide was knowledgeable and the coach comfortable and clean. I feel that can apply to both tours.
The reason I am writing the review is to make others aware of the strike so that they can adjust their plans accordingly. If you are not within walking distance from the station where you meet and there is a strike planned for that day, you might not even want to chance it. There is not a good way to call the company and they say they can’t wait anyway because the coach can only be in the stall at Victoria Station for the allotted time. They can’t refund you since it is through a third party and Viator doesn’t have to give you a full refund you unless you cancel 24 hours in advance.
I had a tour planned for the next day and decided to cancel because there were warnings that travel would be tricky the next morning as well. We planned to see sights around London instead and didn’t book anything until later in the day to avoid anymore stress.

We loved this tour! The guide Rowan, and the driver Darren were both excellent! Rowan was both knowledgeable and entertaining with her sense of humor. The timing was perfect- not rushed and not slow. It also seemed like the crowds increased just as we were leaving both Stonehenge and Bath, so they schedule the stops wonderfully. I would go again!

We had a wonderful experience with Rowan (guide) and Paul (driver)! We got just the right amount of information for each location, ample time, and professionalism the whole way. Rowan’s excitement helped keep my 10 year old engaged her stories helped to build memories for us. Highly recommend!

Deborah is an absolute gem! If you’re lucky enough to get her you’re in for a real treat. She provided such great information and was such a pleasant tour guide. The right enough time spent at Stonehenge. The Bath visit could have used another hour or so as you don’t have a designated time for lunch – so you end up spending an hour eating, cutting into your city exploring time. But otherwise the tour was well planned. You don’t want to drive this on your own as it’s a long day.

  14. Alisa_M

The tour guide was very nice and helpful. The driver was polite! I was very happy and impressed with the tour service!

  15. Mary_V

Katrina was quite knowledgeable about both Stonehenge and Bath. She shared historical facts and landmarks. She was nice and a pleasure to travel with.
I highly recommend LJ Hugs in Bath – had some delicious creole chicken and rice!

What an amazing tour. Our guide, Lindsey, and driver, David were absolutely wonderful. The sites were breathtaking, and I felt there was enough time at each location to enjoy. Thanks again!!

  17. Anup_B

We had enough time to visit both Stonehenge and Bath. Evan and Evans tour had friendly and knowledgeable guide.

  18. Giacinta_P

Great tour. The guide and driver were professional and knowledgeable. The driver was very safe as well. The guide could have given more info about what to do in Bath If you didn’t get the Bath Ticket, but I researched in advance and have been there before so I knew. Wish she would have let us know about where to find the charging port too.

The bus was late arriving at the departure point; we were at least 45 minutes late in our departure, which means there was less free time in Bath. That’s one of the downsides on these tours…..list time is always made up at the cost of our free time.
Also, while we were standing at the bus station, no one, at all, made any attempt to communicate to us what was going on. I went to one of the tour people and asked and his reply was “the bus is late”, a stupid answer since that was already obvious to all.

Chris a great tour guide. Very knowledgeable and engaging. Goes above and beyond. We felt safe with Ashley driving. We would have appreciated more information about the Cotswolds while driving through instead of continued information on Stonehenge.

Seeing Stonehenge was amazing – 5000 years old.
    Our guide, Chris, was wonderful.
Extremely knowledgeable, providing the right balance of jokes and information.
We were so lucky that chris is also an archaeologist.
He enthusiastically introduced us to Bath too, and we enjoyed his stories as he brought the history of the town to life.
He has a good clear voice which meant that the head phones weren’t needed much of the time. But when we did need them the system used was the best we’ve encountered. Previous guided walks we’ve been on have used sound boxes that make crackly noises. But these – VOX -were extremely good.
Dawn was a very good, safe and reliable driver.
The bus was very comfortable and clean.
Thanks for the wonderful memories Chris and Dawn.
