Despite this being a much larger tour than I expected, James did a truly excellent job. He was very knowledgeable and charming. We saw St. Paul’s cathedral. Our tour were virtually the only people there. It was very interesting. We then went to see the changing of the guards where James took us right to the best vantage points to see the new guard and then the old guard despite the crowds. We then went to see the Tower of London and the Crown Jewels and armory. Lastly, we took a boat down the Thames. Very enjoyable day. Thank you James!

Karen was a fantastic tour guide. During our trip, they were getting ready for the Jubilee so we didn’t get as close to Buckingham Palace as I would have liked but we still managed to see it. Also, unfortunately when we went there was no changing of the guard but that was out of their control . We are from the USA, so for the brief time we were in London and experienced this tour we were happy with all we had seen. I would highly recommend the tour . Karen was very knowledgeable.

We were able to see a few more sites outside Buckingham Palace and Westminster Abby. We also drove by several other notable sites, like Trafalgar square and Big Ben. We didn’t get to see the changing of the guard due to a timing issue but I don’t think k we missed anything. St Paul’s was beautiful inside and out. Tour guide gave us so much information about each site. The river cruse and tower of london were also great additions to this tour.

Our tour guide, Ben, was a great mix of informative and funny. Also the boat guide was hilarious and knowledgeable. St. Paul’s was amazing! Ben shared a lot about the cathedral and then let us explore on our own. The Tower of London and seeing the Crown Jewels was also worth the trip, except the lines were so long to see the jewels we didn’t have time to explore more of the Tower-missed seeing Traitor’s Gate and Wakefield Tower. We enjoyed the changing of the guards but felt bad for those with mobility issues as we had to walk pretty far and pretty fast to get in place in time for the ceremony. The Eye was a perfect ending to a busy day, but standing in long lines was ridiculous. There is a “fast pass” lane but we weren’t in it which we felt tour groups should be. The boat ride was a different view of London that we’re glad we included. The itinerary mentioned 40 minutes at both Buckingham Palace and 40 minutes at changing of the guard. We simply walked past the Palace after watching the changing of the guard but didn’t stop for pictures or to explore. Also, no walking tour of the Houses of Parliament (drove and boated past them) and no 20 minute stop at Westminster Abbey (drove by it.) We enjoyed the tour and would recommend it but know that you might not see everything mentioned in the itinerary.

Our guide (Derrick -spelling?) was very knowledgeable, with a great sense of humor. Also appreciated how much information he gave us on what was coming next, how long we had at different locations, and recommendations on other things we should check out or skip in London. Was a very good tour. Got to see all the best of London. Our tour guide, Carol, was very personable and VERY knowledgeable about London history. She also made sure we were never lost. Some suggestions we would have like to see the actual Changing of the Guard, even though we got to see the guards marching down the street. Be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes (not sandals), as there was a LOT of walking. We got let off at the Thames River. So you need to find your own way back. Definitely do the London Eye! Fascinating!

James was fantastic in giving us the history as we went along on this tour. His in depth knowledge and detail oriented story telling was engaging and entertaining to listen to during the tour. The only suggestion I have is for the detailed history at the Tower of London to be shortened. We had a good amount of time to spend there, but 10 or 15 more minutes of less history would have given us time to see more around it. Still, this tour was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed it.
Also, the add-on option of afternoon tea at Harrods was a fantastic experience and we would highly recommend it it.

The tour itself was excellent. Tour guide was very knowledgeable and time management was great. We were able to see pretty much everything in the city of London. However it was very disorganized during the pick up location at Victoria coach station. The staff announcing each tour is very hard to understand. I recommend to put a huge sign of each tour and also put a staff in the entrance of the station to guide everyone where to go instead of wasting your time looking for each gate. Over all it’s worth of the money. Highly recommended.
