Natalie our tour guide, was so knowledgeable and informative. Would highly recommend this tour. Wear comfortable walking shoes.

Only our small group was able to privately enter the gates to not only watch the opening of the tower but we were allowed some time inside with the jewels before the rest of the public came entered!!! Spectacular!!!! The tour was fast paced but the experience of the private entry at the tower was worth it!!

Wonderful early morning tour with Natalie. We were literally the first ones to see the Crown Jewels that morning, so no crowds, lucky!
After the Tower of London tour part we boarded a boat and went down the Thames also with Natalie commentating on things as we passed by. Then onto the changing of the guard, fabulous. We then walked onto Buckingham Palace, again lots to learn from our fantastic guide!

My favorite part of the tour was visiting the Tower of London without having to deal with crowds. The tour guide Richard was probably the best we’ve ever had in all our many years of travel. The whole tour was well worth it.

Tour guide was brilliant and very knowledgeable, however everything felt very rushed. You’re only allowed an hour to explore the Tower of London. Also I feel like the word “cruise” is misleading in this. You literally just ride a boat down the river for not even 20 mins and you’re seated in a part of the boat that makes it difficult to photograph anything as it’s through glass. Eat your wheaties and wear comfy shoes for this tour because you’ll be walking A LOT. (and, most of the way, on uneven ground, so that doesn’t help) The coolest part was the horse parade in my opinion

We did not realize from the Vitour description that the Guard did not change on Saturdays. We purchased this tour specifically for that reason and were disappointed. But the Tower of London was interesting.

Great tour. Easy to find meeting point. Well organized, great knowledge and funny guide Jo. Definitely enjoyed! Highly recommend

The entire tour was great, but the best part had to be the Tower of London. A truly fascinating place. I could have spent my entire trip in that whole place

This was a quick, hit the high points overview of London and the London tower. It was WONDERFUL to get to be there for the opening ceremony of the tower. It’s by no means private- at least 60 people were there, but it did allow us to be the very first people inside the crown Jewels exhibit. We had only one hour for the ceremony and to see anything we wanted at the tower grounds. We definitely had to hurry through what we did see and we didn’t get to see several things. Also, your guide doesn’t go with you through the tower. After the tower tour we met back with our group and boarded a short river Thames cruise which was nice. Our guide, Nathalie, was very knowledgeable and did a great job letting us know the things we passed that were of significance. After the boat ride we walked to the horse guards changing of the guard which was short, but cool to see. From there we moved through the area of St. James park, St James palace and Buckingham palace and the surrounding areas. There’s lots of walking but I was happy we covered so much.

This tour was the perfect start to our trip. Loved it. The guide was phenomenal and very knowledgeable.

Absolutely fantastic trip highlighting some best bits of London. This was our first trip and we were so pleased we picked this one as we got to see the change over of guards , the Tower of London and the Crown Jewels , a Thames cruise and then finally the palace . The tour guide was very knowledgable and helpful and we learnt lots of facts on various areas and statues in London . Would highly recommend this trip !

Had a blast! Our tourist guide Louise was delightful and lovely! She’s very knowledgeable and extremely patient with us.

  13. Cassandra_C

Excellent guide – very personable and knowledgeable. She made the experience enjoyable. I also appreciated the small group.

  14. Caren_A

Our guide, David, was knowledgeable and witty-plus we were able to get ahead of the queue! It’s four hours but feels like much less.

  15. JamesF_R

Amber was our guide. She made the tour very pleasant. We were happy to see the changing of the guards on horses.

Amazing! The early wake up call was a bit painful after having travelled from the US, but so worth it! The opening ceremony at the London Tower was wonderful to experience and we got early access to the Crown Jewels! Lots of very interesting tidbits learned along the way. Our tour guide Jeremy was fantastic, even though he’s from Edinburgh. 🙂

  17. Cassy_R

Our tour guide was sweet and knowledgeable, but this tour, especially for the money, wasn’t worth it. We had a baby with us but yet had to sit away from our group because of this on the boat. Therefore, we heard none of the important information that was provided.

  18. Craig_D

Excellent guide, very enjoyable. Despite the typical London weather in January this tower was very good.

  19. Federico_J

David “Westminster” was extremely knowledgeable and knew everything about the area including history and fun facts. Highly recommend!

As always the Yeoman Warder was funny, engaging and knowledgable at the Tower. The tour (and Nathan) had it all perfectly timed to see the best parts of the Changing of the Guard. I wish we had had a little more time at Tower of London but I fully understand how the timing had to go.
