We had a great skip the line, semi-private tour with Metta ( not sure the name is correct) He was very knowledgeable and informative on the art in the Louvre. He gave us each headsets so we could hear him well in this very crowded space. I highly recommend him and this tour.

The tour guide was friendly and very informative, had lots of knowledge and presented the art pieces in a way that made it interesting even for the younger members of the group. The entry into the museum was easy and the guide was attentive and making sure that we don’t get lost in the crowds. We would definitely recommend this tour to our friends.

Having a front of line pass was great – skipped the cues and entered through the secret bat tunnel!
I also had no idea the Louvre was built on top of an old fort! Walking through the remains of the old moat was surreal – but was made even more special by our guide, Nazli, who was not only super passionate about art and the history – she also pointed out really cool little things we would’ve missed if we were self guided.
We got to see all the ‘big ticket’ items, but our guide also shared her insights on other amazing pieces on our tour.
We were only on a small group of 6 – so it was really personalised – Well worth it!

Skip the line? Our guide, Christina, walked us AROUND the Mona Lisa! Tremendous disappointment…why we didn’t wait in line, to actually pass, get a glimpse, full forward, of Mona Lisa I do not know. Tour started 25 minutes late, we had to leave by 12. Should have ended at 11:45. She still had more to show us after the Mona Lisa drive by. 2 stars is a generous rating.

We arrived 20 mins early, but the guide was 20 mins late, which made the timed entry a bit of a debacle and a further hold-up.
We were rushed through the crowds, several of us losing the guide ahead and being left out of range for commentary through the headsets. By the time we found her, she was moving on again. Saw Venus de Milo and then the Winged Victory. When we got to the gallery of the Mona Lisa, she said there was not enough time to join the queue to see the painting closely, so took us to see other paintings, then told us how to go the long way around again to see Mona Lisa on our own.
When she left, we tried to get into another wing to see the Egyptian artefacts, but as we we not given actual Louvre tickets we could not get in.
Luckily I had been here on a previous visit, but it was the first time for my husband, and he was quite disappointed.
While pleased to see what little we did, I would not highly recommend this tour.

This was a perfect way to get a whirlwind tour of the Louvre, ensure you see some of the most famous pieces, and get acclimated the size and scope of the place before being set free with plenty of time to explore on your own. In my opinion, worth the price!

This was excellent. We thought it was a bit pricey but it really was worth the money. We had William as a tour guide and he took us round some of the more important exhibits explaining them well and with some great facts. Statues with noses cut off signifies their death. Who knew. William did and now so so we lol. Great explanation of paintings and exhibits and why they were what they were. He was full of interesting facts you wouldn’t get from anywhere else. Tour was just right length. We went with our 11 year old and he loved it too. Can’t recommend enough. Easy meet up and no issues getting in.

Buyer beware. Viator works for the tour operators and not for you. Book elsewhere. Two students stood there crying unable to find the meeting location and it turns out there is construction and scaffolding where the meeting point is which is NOT mentioned anywhere. Girls are devastated and Viator won’t assist in any way. So not only is the money lost, they missed out on seeing the Louvre. Disappointed and would have appreciated some support from Viator.
