Great trip with Robbie. We had a bit of a detour due to some road closures, but he kept us entertained throughout.

Adrian from Timberbush Tours was a fantastic driver and our safety was never in doubt amongst both the rain and snow. He was able to answer some questions about Edinburgh, the tour, and Scotland in general and was very accommodating with multiple stops on our way back.
I think Viator could’ve been more explicit that the tours and meals were not included in the price as between the two tours and lunch (cold sausage rolls at Dewar’s), I had spent just as much on the excursion as I had on the booking. In fact, one family was unaware of the extra costs and did not participate in the tours.
As for the tours, Dewar’s was a great experience where we got to learn about the whole process, pair signature whiskeys with chocolate, as well as try any others we were curious about. The second at Tullibardine was not part of the original agenda nor the makeshift schedule for January and it almost felt like our visit was a personal favor to the facility by the organizers. We were rushed through the tour, offered a modest tasting, and whisked away onto the bus. I wish we were able to have a more thorough experience at a more well-qualified institution that wasn’t so far out of the way.
Overall, I’m glad I went on this experience while in town but cannot recommend it to others until Viator/Timberbush revises policies (including allowing an eight year old child on the tour)

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our trip. Perfect whistle-stop tour to see the start of the Highlands and distilleries. Big shout out to our guide Graeme- he made the day with his wealth of historical/tour knowledge and his humour! We were smiling and laughing all day!

Excellent tour. Loved the fact that we went to a large distillery and a small distillery to see the differences.

Richard_B –
Wonderful experience, we got to experience two great distilleries, one of which is the oldest working distillery in Scotland. Aberfeldy was one of the most beautiful locations and gave I’m our option one of the absolute best experiences. We had an amazing lunch at a pub called Schiehallion, great panko fish and chips. Our guide was very entertaining, the bus was comfortable, overall 5 star tour.

A wonderful experience all around!!! The scenery and whisky tours will not disappoint. Our guide, Stewart, was the best! He is friendly, informative and made the whole experience wonderful! Part of traveling for us is always meeting new people from around the world. Stewart made a point of knowing and acknowledging where everyone was from and we all enjoyed our time!

The tour at the glance, with Eric-the master guide.
Glenturret was a very nice visit, interesting story.
Aberfeldy destillery slo good, but more business oriented.

Great driver, great group, good distillery’s, and spectacular scenery. The highlands are a wonder to behold. A long day, and not much legroom, but these are more than outweighed by the positives.
Nikki_M –

Our tour guide, Graham, was exactly the kind of guide that you want for a whiskey experience. Always cracking a joke, breaking the ice, loosening people up. Two very different distilleries so an interesting contrast
