Collum, our guide, was very fun and knowledgeable. We enjoyed every minute of the tour, especially the stop in Glenfinnan to see the train pass over the Viaducts!

Stunning. Travelling through the Glens was breathtaking, who knew the UK had such great views? Weather was off and on rain, but honestly made it more of an adventure for us. Callum was extremely knowledgeable, fun and had his schedule down perfect. Worst part was travelling back as we didn’t want to go back. 10/10 would Glen again.

The day was absolutely amazing from start to finish. The scenery is beautiful and the photos do not do it justice. Our tour guide, Andrew, was great with little facts and details about all parts of the route on the way there and back. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to see some of the Scottish highlands!

Trip booked 21 days before. Starts at 7:30 am so woke up early, took best transport in peak hours for two people to meet in time at correct point. Then waited till 7:45 am but no bus showed up.
Followed up on chat option and no response. Finally called technical support and got to know trip has been cancelled.
No prior email, sms or call about trip cancellation. Operator told we cancelled trip at 6:30 am and we are sorry we couldn’t confirmed. It was very shameful to hear and feel helpless. One of the old passenger couple who were supposed to board bus with us were shouting all in the air. There was only trip refund supposed to be given and not any transport expense to and fro to home and pickup point location.
Saddest trip of my life. Please never try this 👍🏻

  5. Skyler_A

It was absolutely lovely, It was scenically celestial. The tour guide was witty and informational and just lovely all around. I would 100% do this again :^) Would recommend bringing a jacket or something to bundle up in though as it gets quite chilly.

  6. Sandra_R

James was our driver and tour guide – he was brilliant – due to the rail strike we were unable to see the steam train, but he managed to keep upbeat and ensure we enjoyed a wonderful experience.

  7. LaurenLynn_C

It was great to have a sight of the Highlands and have a bit of the history. Steven the tour guide was just hilarious and accommodating as well!

  8. RohitKumar_C

Glenfinnan and Mallaig were the best part of the tour with some amazing nature views enroute. It is must go for anyone especially if you are a Harry Potter fan. We were lucky to see two trains passing on the viaduct.

  9. Jan_S

This was the worst Viator trip we have attended! Do not take this tour if you are sensitive to riding on curvy roads…you will be sick. Very little site info provided by the driver. Breaks were unnecessarily long. Couldn’t wait to return to our hotel.

  10. Katie_w

Enjoyed Glencoe and seeing the train over the viaduct. Lovely views throughout the journey! The lunch stop in Mallaig was lovely I recommend the local prawns.

  11. Sandra_S

Seeing the Harry Potter train pass at Glenfinnan viaduct was absolutely fantastic. Plenty of stops on the way up and a great experience all round

  12. Jordyn_M

Such a fun tour! This was my first solo tour in my life and I had a blast! It was cool to see the steam train go over the viaduct but seeing the town of Mallaig and the views at Glen Coe were even better.

  13. Tanmoy_B

For the wee ‘uns, Harry Potter imbues the natural world with wonders. For the city-bedazzled the highlands provides a glimpse of an older elemental magic. With a nonstop nigh on 12 hour commentary in a strong Scottish accent interrupting the occasional views of the inside of one’s eyelids, it was a thoroughly enjoyable, though hectic, day.

  14. Danielle_J

Great views and stories! The bus was clean, the driver was helpful. The landscape was amazing and the stops were great.

  15. Donna_R

The driver/tour guide (Stuart) was right on time. Very pleasant friendly person too! He provided some history of Scotland which was really interesting! Although the weather was rainy and foggy at the beginning, he assured us we would get a second chance to see the scenery and on the return trip, the sun was out and everything was beautiful! He was very conscience of everyone’s comfort as well. Towards the end of the tour, he played the bagpipes for us which everyone seemed to appreciate.

  16. Barbara_W

Storytelling of Stuart, Viaduct, Steamtrain, the many places We have Visite, the backpipe playing, the history of the Clans…

  17. Angela_C

Callum was an informative and friendly tour guide! What a great way to see the Highlands and learn more about Scotland.

  18. K_K

Such a fantastic Timberbush tour with our guide David. We got to see so many beautiful places (glencoe, etc.) & amazing filming locations for Harry Potter, Skyfall & more. A lot of ground (300 miles) covered in one day trip! A treat to experience the “real” Hogwarts steam train in Mallaig and then to see it go over the iconic viaduct!

  19. Rddhima_g

The tour guide is very sweet and entertaining. The places are gorgeous to see and everything was very well planned

  20. Kausik_M

Our driver was our guide. He took us through history, art, culture and various stories written in context of the highlanders.
    What an amazing experience..
