We enjoyed this tour. It was very informative and just the right amount of time to see the catacombs and understand their history. The restroom facilities at the tour office could use improvement, but they were very good at the catacombs site.

Our guide, Paul, was wonderful. He had such a knowledgeable background on Roman history and the catacombs that many of us admitted we had no idea of the uniqueness of this. The van transportation was a bonus otherwise, it may have been more difficult to get there. If have have any degree of claustrophobia, this would not be a your doe you as the majority is underground. We personally did not plan enough time for the above ground gardens.

We had a terrific guide for our Catacombs tour June 12, 2023, Samuele. The format — being driven from the tour operator offices to the site in a small van — meant we benefited from a brief driving tour of Rome in addition to the Catacombs tour itself. And Samuele’s guidance through the Catacombs was masterfully pitched to suit the adults and teens in our small group. This was a splurge (a maximum eight person tour, and as it turned out it was just the five people in our family), and it was worth it. We learned a lot, we enjoyed our guide and our drivers (different drivers each way), and we were able to do the entire thing in about an hour and 45 min, freeing more time for us in Rome. Highly recommended!

My wife and I booked this excursion last minute and didn’t realize at the time it was a Spanish guided tour.
They accommodated us completely. They gave us a guide who also spoke english which was nice but even better, the guide asked the other tourist if they spoke english, which most did so they switched the entire tour to english for us which made for an incredible experience.
Can’t thank them enough as the catacombs were very cool.
