We signed up for the 4.5 tour on Saturday, 27 May. We arrived early and were pleasantly surprised to find out we were the only 2 participants on the tour. The staff at TopBike Rental and Tours were so friendly, attentive and extremely accommodating. My husband weighs 300lbs and had concerns he would not find a suitable bike. They have a huge selection of bikes and were able to ensure we both find a bike that was comfortable and easy to ride. The ebikes are so easy to ride! The tour was absolutely beautiful and our guide was amazing.

Christopher was amazing! He expertly guided our group of 10! He was funny and educational, but he also told us when it was time to hurry or be safe and serious. Never felt unsafe. The tour itself was phenomenal! The views, the length of time, and all the stops were fantastic! Of all the countries and all the tours, this has been my favorite! Even the staff checking us in was great, super friendly group who all seem to love what they do. The ebikes were a new experience for me but were easier to work than expected! It gave you assistance uphill and helped you coast longer when flat, but never made you feel propelled or in danger. 174939% recommend this tour if in Rome, it’s a whole new (and very old) side of the city.

I really loved this tour! It was the best day spent doing this and I couldn’t recommend it more. Our guide Elias was amazing as well with lots of knowledge on the history. The group was also amazing we all got along. Had a nice lunch and took amazing photos! I also liked this because you were away from the tourists and had some quietness riding the bike.

I loved this trip so much. The guide Linda, was friendly and easy going. The catacombs were very interesting and there was plenty of time at each site to enjoy the ambience. The route was peaceful and mostly away from busy roads. She kept a good eye on everyone and it was very safe.
The electric bikes took ALL of the wfgort out of any hills etc. It lashed raining with thunder and lightening at times but we sheltered through the worst if it at the catacombs and managed quite well with careful and quick planning by Linda.
We made a lunch stop at a local Pizza Shop and it was definetly the tastiest Pizza I have ever eaten hands down. The bike company supplied a bottle of water per person and there are small carrier bags on the front of the bike. The bikes are very easy to manage.
There were plenty of stops and you can enjoy both the sights and the quiet countryside without feeling too tired. 6 hours seems long before you start, but it a was pretty easy ride and you don’t need to be really fit to enjoy it.
Overall, a great day despite the weather and I would recommend it highly.

Stephen and the bike company were outstanding. They spent time to make sure we each had a bike we were comfortable with and a helmet that fit properly. They even found me a “girl” bike with no bar across. I had never ridden an e-bike and was pleasantly surprised that I could easily go up hills and keep up with my family. Stephen expertly guided us through busy Roman streets, to the parks on the outskirts of town. He obviously loves his job and made every effort to keep us informed of things to look out for on the path. He was attentive to me, as a non-expert biker, which I truly appreciated. He gave us plenty of time to visit an ancient ruined villa, the catacombs, the aqueducts, lunch and more. Everything was so beautiful – just like the photos in magazines. And being away from the busy city was just lovely – peaceful countryside, no crowds, farms, villas. I hope to do other bike tours soon!
